One of my favorite "Marty Moments" was when they were given the new INXS song to sing in the studio, Marty and Jordis were talking about the song outside. Marty read "60's funk" on the paper, looked at Jordis kinda confused, and said "what's 60's funk?" lol It was just so genuine and real and cute. He doesn't pretend he's something he's not. Very likeable quality.

Very likeable quality. I loved that too! What I really dig about Marty is that, off-stage, he had such a quiet and unassuming attitude. Like, he'd be such a great person to just hang out with and not worry about having to be "on" all the time. I liked seeing that he had a NON-rockstar attitude. Just a regular (gorgeous, sexy as hell) guy who happens to be amazingly talented (and gorgeous and sexy as hell).

When Marty walked on that stage with that black suit & red shirt to sing "wish you were here", my oh my. that was something. Glad I had hit the record button on the VCR, I rewatch that to my heart's content.

My favorite: When Marty confronts JD for attacking the rest of the Rockers, (re: I know all the songs and they have to learn them, blah blah), he calmly says, "What you said out there...made me feel a certain way." Makes me giggle like crazy every time. You know he was dying to kick his arse. I don't know about you guys but I think we've uncovered a great song lyric in that statement...... [glow=red,2,300]"What you said, it made me feel a certain way........."[/glow] and you could expand on that with...... [glow=red,2,300]"What you did, it made me wish you'd go away.........."[/glow] lol....just rambling.......sorry

My favorite moments were how he always nailed the answers when OB or Dave asked him questions. He always blew them away with his thoughtful replies.
I absolutely loved every one of his performances.....just could not get enough of him. Oh my he is so charismatic....he definitely has the "it" factor.

I agree with the MSN site--the greatest moment of the whole show was Marty smashing the guitar. It is MY personal top moment, too, BECAUSE I WAS THERE TO SEE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Thanks again, Claudia!!!) I flew out there to see that taping, not knowing if he'd even be performing that day. When he got to do the encore of "Trees", I was so excited that I would get to see him perform it. Then he got up on stage and told us about our choice. I was thinking, "OMG--is he really going to smash the blue guitar???" But of course, I yelled just as loud as anyone for ELECTRIC!!!!!!!!!!!!! (And he was so ON that day--completely psyched and pumped to be doing what he was doing! He completely owned that stage!) Then SMASH!!!!!!!!!............... SMASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!OMG--HE REALLY BROKE THE GUITAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I was blown away--I've seen The Who 6 times in my life, and NEVER have gotten to see a guitar smash. The FIRST time I see Marty--he smashes one!!!!!!!!!! HOLY S***!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As far as performances, I keep watching his performance of "Creep" over and over, and I think that may be THE performance highlight of the entire show! This really shows off how far he's come in developing his voice--it's almost scary how far he has taken his abilities in such a short time. The crowd is just about you-know-what-ing while he's singing the "Run, run, run" parts. ;D The very first time he got to me, though, was when the hat came off during "Take Me Out". My jaw dropped, and I realized that while the rest of them were pretending to be rock stars, this man IS rock! He is one with it. So many more favorite moments...............from Rock Star: Marty Casey. That's what it became for me!

One moment that made me respect Marty more and more was when J. D. was saying he didn't want to do a song that was *****y sounding from the song writing clinic, and you could read the anger in Marty's face, but he controlled himself and didn't sink to J. D.'s level. That must have been hard; I'm not sure if I could have held back as much as he did! Definitely a classy guy, with principles.

Thought of one more favorite moment: Marty packing the "express" way: taking a drawer and dumping it in the suitcase. I'll bet he has been on the road many times, and has gotten that packing and unpacking down!

You could definitely get the feeling he'd been on the road one too many times.

Hi guys,
Very hard to chose just one Greatest Moment. But I think my favorite Marty moment was him singing Wish You Were Here. I have always been a huge Pink Floyd fan and was a little worried when Marty had to sing this song but he just did it so much better than PF. I have listened to the PF version again since Marty sung it and Marty's version is just so much more intense and beautiful. Rock on Marty.
My 2 other fave Greatest Moments are Jordis singing 'The Man Who Stole The World'. Also Jordis and Marty joining Mig on stage to sing Baby I love your way.
All fab moments and I want them on a DVD!!!!
Cheers, Helen.

it's too hard to pick. i first saw him and thought, oh my god, he's hot. When he darkened Hit Me Baby, I was blown away. Then when he sang I Alone, i was completely besotted. Still, I thought, "man, this guy is great, but maybe not for iNXS." But then he sang Don't Change, and killed it. I said to myself, this guy COULD sing for INXS, but he's way too good for them... and each week a new favorite -- Wish You Were, Creep, Trees, those conductor arms in Arms Wide Open and that funny robot dance in Take Me Out..... HELP I CAN"T STOP!!!!

First the Marty moments: Marty thudding to the floor in agony when he learned that he had to sing Britney... priceless! Also, the RUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNs on Creep and the finale when he flops aside the mike and then says into the camera "..and I don't belong here" Everytime they had dinner he just STUFFED his face as he hadn't eaten for a week - I would KILL for his metabolism! To give credit where credit is due, I also have to quote as my favorite moments: - MIg and his All right now: it made me decide to stay and watch the show; - The elimination of Will and Jessica; - Try now and the admission of vulnerability by Jordis; - shots game every time that Farriss said YorNotRoitForOBINXS A favorite moment that never came: J.D. sent back to Vegas

When Marty smashed his guitar...a true rockstar moment. Actually, except for his first performance, I loved all of Marty's appearances (performances and otherwise). I didn't get to watch "life at the mansion" episodes since I didn't get it on my cable provider (damn them!) but I loved the way Marty held his temper with JD during the song writing clinic. Although it would have been interesting to see him lose his temper at JD's tantrums. But I guess he's too well brought up to act like a jerk.
I'm still kicking myself for having just missed seeing him on stage with Jordis and Mig for the encore of "Baby I Love Your Way".
Aside from Marty moments, I loved watching Jordis' "The Man Who Sold The World" and Migs' "Baby I Love Your Way". I also like watching Deanna when she wore that gray form-fitting dress. She looked quite sexy and classy in it which surprised me since she struck me as a jeans and leather sort of woman.
When Suzie finally got her act together, fashion-wise, she was fun to watch. Especially during her rendition of "Bohemian Rhapsody". She really seemed to be enjoying herself although I didn't really enjoy her version of that song. Only Queen can sing it.
Just my opinion...

Marty's kick-a$$ performance of Don't Change and the look on INXS faces. Marty's spot on jump and down on his knees, when he done I Alone. Marty sitting on the stoop/steps, holding a folder in his hand, looking up and asking Jordis...What is 60's funk? Just the way he looked up and how he asked that question was so funny. A man with a good sense of humor catches my attention.
