Remember this Band? How could we forget these guys Just received an e-mail from Rafael Moreira that he has just released his first solo CD "Acid Guitar" www.cdbaby.com/cd/rafaelmoreiraIMHO > This guy needs acknowledgment for the work he does. He backed up our Marty I wouldn't doubt Marty will have him help out again in the near future too! Awesome guitarist ;D If you have watch the video "Standing In the Shadows" about the Funk Brothers you will know what I mean. I am using my little voice to see that this doesn't happen to this "House Band" Sure hope there is support here for Rafael ;D

Nate is one of the most amazing, solid drummers I've ever heard.

Has anyone else read all the House Band interviews over at Rockstargohome.com?
They're great reads for fans of music. I was blown away to read that Sasha's band back in Russia sold over 20 million CDs!!

Don't mean to be rude, and have been a fan of INXS since I was a teenager BUT the house band sounded better.....

I think they were better than INXS also! I loved hearing them AND watching them. So much energy and fun! I also thought Paul was amazing and had a lot of class and talent without a big ego. I wish they would get together and record as a band. I will definitely check out the CD mentioned here.

Don't Change with the House Band vs. Don't Change with INXS. NO QUESTION! Rafael totally jamming during the climax of Creep is one of the great visuals that stays with me. Then there's Nate. When they played on Mark & Brian at KLOS, Mark brought his teenage son in just so he could watch Nate play. I heard several things, including that they were going to work with Jordis in the studio. Any truth to this?

That is the same 'unofficial' thing that I had been reading... www.musicscene.org/portalpak/forumdetail.asp?frid=292250... another rumor is that Jordis is going to release her single - Man Who Sold the World - soon.

I have to put in my two cents too and say that the House band was awesome. Even my hubby commented every week how talented and versatile they were. And to be able to work with all sorts of songs with all sorts of singers every week! Whoever put that band together for ROCKSTAR:INXS was genius.

My husband and I often commented on how much we would love to see House Band in concert. They rocked so much - way better than INXS. If they do a second season of RS, I hope they use the House Band or it really won't be worth watching.

I'm also a big fan of the House Band. It the rumors about them working with Jordis are true, I'll be very happy. I'd be the first in line to buy tickets to that show.

I loved Mart and the House Band's version!! I have played that song & watched both the videos over & over trying to pinpoint why I like the House Band's verson better. Andy ideas? The house band was so good, there is definitely a difference between why I like the "Don't Change" version I downloaded compared to "Don't Change" with INXS, it wasn't the singer, it was the band! They just seemed to make each song sound so much better than the originals, mind you Marty had a hell of a lot to do with that too.

I read that Jordis was recording with them--I hope that is true--they will produce great things! I would also love to see the house band put out an album. Does anyone know if they will be part of the second season of RS:INXS?

I loved the house band! I have actually seen Paul and Nate perform on tour before. Paul as part of one of my old faves called "Nelson" and Nate with Vanessa Carlton. I even have one of his drumsticks he tossed out right to my husband at a show in KC in 2002.
