My main problem with Lukas is that I can't understand half of what he's singing.

Tonight Lukas blew me away. I'd also give a thumb's up to Dilayna (sp?) and Dana. Toby was terrible and I didn't like Phil either. (Sorry Penny!) Zayra needs to GO. Where was that outfit from? A Jetsons cartoon? It was all kinds of wrong. Jill Joya? Soooo not roit for the band.

I have got to say, Ryan wasn't that bad with I Alone. That surprised me. The more I watch the band SN the more I like them. I love what Gilby Clarke said about women grinding. You can tell he loves his daughter. When he was playing guitar tonight, I had a wonderful vision. I'd like to share it with you. Just imagine you're at a huge sold out Arena to see some kick-a$$ rock and role with SuperNova and who ever they pick as lead singer (I have no favs) and before they take the stage, the opening band appears and it's......Mr. Marty Casey and Lovehammers. Can you imagine that?! I'd probably burn 10,000 calories rocking with those two acts.

I thought the best of the night were Dilana and Storm. I think Storm should get the encore, and I think she's right when she says she could have done any song and rocked it. Ryan's I Alone is okay...until you compare it to Marty's. Marty's was so powerful and goose-bump giving. Ryan's just didn't do it for me. I look back at Marty's RS performances, and they all rocked. They were all brilliant. For a minute I wondered how it was possible to be so good week after week, then I remembered we were talking about Mr. Marty Casey.

I agree that Storm should get the encore... that was her best performance to date! Dilana never disappoints, and Lukas is an awesome entertainer. Ryan surprised both Rich & me with his performance of "I Alone"... he did a good job - just not a great job, compared to our Marty Zayra needs to go, Phil needs to go, I love Josh's voice - he'd be better off as a solo artist though. Toby seems to be slipping... still easy on the eyes!! It has been fun watching Dana's week by week transformation.... her folks back home are probably thinkin' "my poor baby girl".....

Here's my 2 cents worth:
Lukas- did okay but glad Jason told him to start singing without the straining/screaming. He is not my favorite since his voice is not smooth.
Ryan - surprised me with "I Alone". Not a bad job but no where near the rivoting performance by Marty.
Magni - the best singer of them all. I thought the "what's up with the guitar" comments were not needed by SN. Who cares, he sang the song brilliantly.
Storm - Had the best female perfomance
Patrice - Can sing but not for SN
Toby & Phil - did okay
Jill - too much and too whiny
Zayra - Has to go NOW

I would love to give you an intelligent string of thoughts about last night's show.... but I was a little tipsy so I loved them all! And it's about time someone dove into the crowd. By the way, when playing the drinking game... don't do it while Zayra is on stage. I had to drink every time she stuck her out.

Magni - the best singer of them all. I thought the "what's up with the guitar" comments were not needed by SN. Who cares, he sang the song brilliantly. Storm - Had the best female perfomance I agree on these two. I loved Storm's performance and I feel like I would've liked it even better if I'd known the song. I'm not familiar with it. Magni has a great voice. I wonder about the comments....wonder what all they edited out. I'd really like to hear the unedited version. And I'd like to hear the unedited version of the comments on Jill Joya. She was nasty doing all that grinding and Gilby was 100% spot on.

Can I just reiterate how COOL I think Gilby is? He's the best thing about this show for me.
As much as Dilana's "Lithium" creeped me out a bit, she's the one I wait for each week and wonder what's she's gonna bring. I think she's really, really good.
I like Lukas...but I would not pay to see him sing. Sorry.
Toby is so cute, but he can't move very well on stage. Very tense....he never dances. I would like to see him let loose a bit, but Supernova definitely digs him.
I'm not so much with the Magni love. He's okay. I liked Storm last night. Finally, less theatrics (although still there) and more rock. I also thought Dana did a good job. I liked what she did with the song. Ryan was not bad either.
Zayra MUST go. She is just terrible unless she is singing an Evanescence type song.
DirtyPhil better step it up if he wants to stick around. Last week was so much better than this week.
Josh needs to go to. Way to butcher that Blind Melon song. Made me cringe.
Patrice, who I really liked in the past, was kinda boring. And rude. Gilby rocks.

Here, I'll do a quickie on my opinion-
Lukas: I like his voice, though I really wish he would try to not do the gravel-voice just once. I want to hear him sing, not snarl.
Magni: I didn't like the song as much as I've liked his other performances. Don't know why.
Patrice: You look like you should be teaching kindergarten. Enough said.
Zayra: What are you, trying out for Power Rangers-The Musical?
Dilana: Wow, I can't believe she pulled that off.
Dana: I love that song, and she sounded amazing.
Ryan: Nice job, buddy.
Phil: Two words-bobble head. Yuck.
Storm: Amazing. I loved her. She should get encore.
Jill: Ewwwwww! Gilby was spot-on with his critique. Watch a Garbage concert for pointers about being sexy without being nasty.
Josh and Toby: Meh. That's all I can say.

I agree with Fly almost completely! My two favorite performances last night were Lukas and Dilana. They continue to stand out each and every week. I would like to hear Lukas' real voice though. Ryan surprised me. I didn't totally hate his performance. The Philster is a total bobblehead! But I like his grittiness. Zayra Jetson must go NOW! Ya know I thought I would watch this show for T Lee and Ppod, but I find myself hooked on the Gilbster!

Yeah, Ryan wasn't as bad as I thought he'd be, which isn't saying much. But at least he shows that he does have a voice and can have some fun on stage.
Toby can sing, but he's too stiff.
Dilana and Lukas are riveting, which is what this band needs.
Patrice's comments were obnoxious and Ppod's response was dead on: "I already have a job."
And thanks to Gilby for telling Jill that the grinding was a turn-off. A true rocker doesn't have to do that.
Which brings me to Zayra: Just get her off the stage. NOW.
The rest of them didn't make an impression on me, including Storm. Bud I didn't know the song she did, so that may be part of the reason.
Overall, I still don't think this year compares to last year.

I also like how the supernova guys are being so honest about the performances. It's quite clear who's fit to win this thing. Either Dilana, Lukas or Storm. I do like Toby, Magni and Phil. I look forward to their performances every week, but they're not the right chemistry for the band. I need to check out my favorites previous bands. Can't believe I haven't done that yet!

Storm: Amazing. I loved her. She should get encore. Storm kicked major a**on that song. Can't believe the energy. I am completely fascinated with the women on this show. After my obsession with Marty winning the gig last year, I'm surprised that I could care less about the men, I think they're all so-so. But the women are amazing! Dilana is so beautiful behind all the metal on her face and Storm brings it all to the table with some serious rockin' out. Not an ounce of nervousness in either one of those chicks, they're naturals. I want to know how much the Rolling Stones got paid for the use of their songs, they've got one or two every week! I'm getting a little tired of it, frankly...

Hey Pdhva, Dilana is a beautiful person. If I had to pick a roomate out of one of them I'd pick her. She seems so sweet and straight forward. As far as the Rolling Stones, didn't Paul say that Gilby was one of the biggest RS fan on the planet. That might be why they play so much of it.
