I am not sure where to post this sad news but it looks like Storm, Magni and the house band have been kicked off the Supernova Tour, and Toby's, Dilana are still on with Toby's band Juke Kartel fronting. This is just the latest controversy to besiege Tommy Lee's new band, Rockstar Supernova, since the reality show wrapped production last month. First a California punk band claimed rights to the name Supernova and sought an injunction to halt the television act from performing or recording under the "Supernova" brand, unless they changed or added words to the name. A San Diego judge ruled in favor of the punk band and forced the CBS backed group to find a new moniker. For once Davey trumped Goliath! Tommy Lee and the rest of the band, including the show's winner Lukas Rossi, changed the name to Rockstar Supernova. With a tour scheduled to begin on New Year's Eve in Vegas, the bill's opening act was to include The Panic Channel, host Dave Navarro's latest band, as well as, fellow contestants Toby Rand, Dilana, Magni, Storm Large and the program's House Band. But now TMZ has learned that due to financial reasons Magni, Storm Large and the House Band have been kicked off the tour. Toby and Dilana are still on board (thank God!), but will now be backed by Toby Rand's Australian group Juke Kartel. Evs! Though this is sure to be a blow to Storm Large and Magni, who is already a bona fide sensation in his native Iceland, the real question is how fans will react to the news. And while Magni and Storm will be sorely missed, we're still hoping they add the ever unpredictable and fabulous Zayra Alvarez to the bill. Due to issues that have nothing to do with music and everything to do with money Supernovas managers have decided not to include the House-band in the upcoming tour - That of course means that I´m not going either. Instead - Juke Cartel - Toby´s band will be opening the show.
This is of course a huge blow for me since I was so eagerly waiting to go with my boys on tour but the plan is still to get them over here for my birthday on desember first...

Is there a RockStar curse for the bands.............hmmmmmmmm......
Seems to me the losers win.......and the winners...........well.........

Aww, Key, I guess it was too good to be true....I just read that it will be Josh and Patrice, not Magni. Oh well. I hope we hear more from Magni soon. I would love to see him play live!

Well, tonight is the night  The house band from RS SN, Magni, Dilana,Josh, Storm and Toby will be playing in Iceland. I don´t have to tell you that I am counting down the hours like a child waiting for Christmas Magni, Dilana, Josh and the houseband were on a TV show last night and here is the link for it dagskra.ruv.is/streaming/sjonvarpid/?file=4301662Unfortunately I don´t know how to edit it so this is the TV show in full lenght. The house band from RS, Magni, Storm, Dilana, Toby and Josh played in Iceland - My report: The show last night was excellent, of course, what else to expect The house band was amazing and same thing goes for each and every performer. Wow what a night, It started with Magni´s band; Á Móti Sól, they warmed up. After that Magni introduced Josh Logan and he sang few songs and then the others performed one by one. The songs were so many and I can´t remember them all but I will tell you some later. Josh – He is a nice guy and very My Space-friends-needy, so fans please sign up. He is really looking for more friends and he told us that many times  He sang a few originals and also the song Santeria that he also did on the RS SN show. Storm – Well fortunately we got a Storm Warning before she started ha ha ha ;D She is amazing. The poor girl is recovering from flu and I heard her voice yesterday morning on the radio and she was not in her best shape but she said that she was working on fixing it for the night and boy oh boy she did. She was in the punk gear and looked like she was bursting of energy. She sang remarkable well and I just loved her. Her songs: Ladylike, Anything Anything, Bohemian Rapsody (she totally nailed it wow). Dilana – She is absolutely adorable, so rough and so sweet and so cheerful. She even got the audience to swear in Icelandic for a whole chorus to the song I´m Gonna Be (500 Miles). Magni taught her some bad words in Icelandic at the Mansion that she has obviously not forgot Her songs: Zombie, Roxanne, Time after time, and …many more Toby – Always hot and good looking. The girls went screaming crazy when he showed up  . At first he was acting cockily, drinking “Islenskt brennivin“ which is a special Icelandic spirit (probably the first alcoholic drink that was made here and the taste is awful) and of course he did not like the taste although he drank it. In the end of the show he said OMG I just heard that no Icelander drink this shit ;D Oh he is the cutest. He did not let any women down, he was very energetic and took his shirt off, running around the stage. Oh my he is hot. His songs: Somebody told me, Layla, Knocking on heavens door, Rebel Yell Magni – The king of Rock n Roll in Iceland  . What can I say? He was embraced many many times. Nearly everyone on the stage thanked him for making this marvelous show for real. It was Magni that made it happen. I could tell that he was getting quite emotional by all this but then he grabbed his guitar and rocked harder than ever. He is incredible, he is sooo good. His birthday is today so WE (6 or 7 thousand people) sang a birthday song for him and Storm spanked him three times and told us that it is tradition in the States . His songs: The Dolphins cry, Fire, Hush, Creep, Smells Like Teen Spirit. Yes, the show was MAGNIficent and lasted for about 4 hours (warm up band included, maybe 45 min. of the time ). The Rockers played also few songs together, like Magni and Toby were awsome when they performed the classic U2 song With or with out you. It is unbelievable to see your favorite Rockers from the RS SN show standing right before you, this people that you watched week after week on TV. Nothing will top that for me unless I meet Marty Casey someday |

OMG, sounds like it was an amazing night...what a terrific birthday bash! Looks like it took Magni to get the house band and rockers together across the universe (as they say). Thanks for sharing!

Yes this was very long show but it was such a fun that although I was standing the whole time I didn´t even notice it until in the end when my feet were screaming at me . When we walked out of there my husband said to me; Wow I am really moving, I wasn´t sure it was going to happen again because I thought I was totally frozen forever ;D They did allow cameras. I couldn´t take any pics because I was standing in the middle of the crowd and I am not the tallest person, all I would have got were heads of people before me. I decided not to worry because I am sure I find some on the internet after few days. And better yet, one of our TV Channel taped the show so hopefully I get to see it sometimes. If it gets on the internet I will sure let you know . |

I'm crossing my fingers for a Rockstar date within driving distance with both Marty and Magni. That would be a dream!
