I kinda like all of the above as they all conjure up images of Martydom! but he's still a part of The Lovehammers right?........I like Hammerheads....................I think Marty and the guys would like that too, just my humble opinion  |

You're welcome! We can be Hammerheads and TreeHuggers/TreeLovers too! Dino's pretty cute and Billy is pretty fine with all those muscles. And I love the LH version of "Trees" better than any other.

I like Martinis, it's cute and infers a party too. Treehuggers is also good, despite the extremist conotation. Hey, if he is the Tree and we are the huggers, I do think we'd all go to any extreme to ensure conservation of him, wouldn't we? LOL

I think all of your ideas are awesome. But we seem to be losing sight of the fact that Marty Casey is the frontman for the Lovehammers. We want this band, as a whole to become the rock legends they already are in our hearts. I am proud to call myself a Hammerhead!!
I can't wait to see them in concert!!

Exactly! We're all Hammerheads, but some of us have Marty as our favorite. Like with Motley Crue, some like Vince and others like Tommy. They're still Crue fans.

The only problem I have with "Kool Aid" or "Kool Aid Drinkers" is that it's referring to mass suicide, right? As in a cult following. It just seems kind of tactless to me. The Kool-Aid commune has a HUGE following! These Marty fans are intelligent and witty. The "kool-aid" reference isn't tactless at all - it's very fitting to the meaning of "I, Alone." Many fans, including myself, found this performance of Marty's phenomenal. So please let's not post negativity about other groups of Marty fans. Different boards saw fans calling themselves different fan names. No matter what we call ourselves, we're Marty fans. (I also also happen to partake in the peachy Kool-Aid!) It's plain Marty love no matter what you call it. |

Sorry, I didn't mean to hurt anyone's feelings or insult anyone. I know fans who are in the KA commune and I know that they are very smart people. I was just stating my opinion. I'm just not comfortable joking about suicide. Sorry if what I said was misunderstood.

"Marty Had a Little Lamb" little lamb, little lamb Marty Had a Little Lamb his Body smooth and Bold, Everywhere that Marty went the Treelovers were Sure to Go"  Hey! You know, I was thinking. There are so many Marty fans that everybody can pick whatever they want to call themselves. Whether you're a Martini or a Martree or a TreeLover or a Kool Aid Drinker or a Martyac or a TreeHugger, it doesn't matter as long as you love Marty. Personally, I think I'm a TreeHugger. Yep, that's what I'm going with. |

I personally like the Kool-aide commune or Martinies, don't care for Tree-(anything). It seems too one dimensional for only one of many many fabulous songs.

The reason I picked TreeHugger was because when we saw Marty perform "Trees," we were seeing the complete artist for the first time. He was performing his own song, his own way. Before it had been songs written by other people.
And when he performed "Trees," he seemed to really get back into who he was. With their comments INXS was trying to shape/mold Marty into what they wanted as their lead singer. I'm glad for Marty to be able to be Marty.
But like I said above, to each her own. We're all Marty fans and we all rock.
