I would boycott INXS like that. Not to say I wouldnt hit the beer garden a couple times during the show. But I always do that. ;D I think if someone feels the need to get a point across, just set up close w/ a Lovehammers tshirt on.

I'm not going, but it's not exactly because I'm boycotting. I can't stand JD, and I don't really care one way or the other about INXS. Opening acts usually only do about five songs, right? I just don't have the money to spend on concerts that I'll only enjoy a small portion of. But if the Lovehammers were touring on their own or with someone I liked, then I would definitely try to be there.

I think it would be so rude to walk out like that. I hope it doesn't happen. JD was not my pick but when they played there new song I actually liked it. You never know there new CD could be good. I would go there to see Marty though and probably be bored the rest of the time but I might be surprised. I'll give it a chance. Yeah I also would not want to pay all of that money to just leave after the Lovehammers. I wonder how much they will cost. I heard there performance in Chicago coming up is $1000.00. Someone correct me if I am wrong but if it's really that much I could never afford to go.

Should I stay or should I go? I think I would quit, I am not enough of an INXS fan and JD's pogoing gets on my nerves so much. Now if Dave Navarro was a guest, I could stay... AFAIMC, INXS should open for the LH

Well, If I could pay for half price ticket, I will watch Marty only then leave. But since I can't... perhaps I will watch the show until I can't stand anymore. Who knows Marty will come out and sing with INXS.

As much I didn't care for JD on the show and I have said that would leave after seeing Marty or the Lovehammers. After thinking it through and thinking about the grace and dignity Marty has shown I think I should stay and give JD the same respect Marty did/does. He cant be all that bad of a guy if he and Marty can work through all of JD's BS and be friends.

I truly can't stomach JD, but he's not the only member of INXS, so I'd enjoy the heck out of the Lovehammers part and then stay for the rest. If it really bothered me, then I'd leave.

I can't wait to see Lovehammers live and fully plan to be wearing one of their t-shirts at the show so it's clear why I am there. However I would stay to see INXS if I could talk my husband into it. JD bugs him even more than he bugs me. He can't stand the weird hand thing JD does. But Marty might just do a song with them. That could be info we pass along to each other as the tour progresses. Plus I have a fond, nostalgic spot in my heart for INXS and I appreciate that they aren't tying Marty down to playing their music for a year. I think it's a win/win.

I was at the finale of Rockstar. I went to watch Marty win. When he did not, I was devastated but when I saw JD standing in front of a aging band and had on fire or spark, I was elated that Marty was NOT chozen. He will do better with his own band and his own music!

Well ya know, the reason I even started watching Rockstar was because I was a fan of INXS during the 80's and love their music. As much as I wanted Marty to win, I think that INXS made a good choice in picking JD. Yeah he may be cocky, but I think he kinda grew out of that somewhat towards the end. Plus I really dug the song "Easy Easy", I think he will do well for INXS. So yeah, I would stay for the whole show, because I am a fan of both Marty and INXS!

I'd stay. Boycottting the concert does make a statement, but INXS is the reason I "met " Marty Casey and found out about the Lovehammers. But I would agree if it sucked then I'd leave.
d2k you're "on spot" about the finale. I watched the finale show over and over and Marty just was too cool to be their frontman no matter how much he wanted it. JD fit so much better and I am really looking forward to new music from the Lovehammers!

I'll try to go, since obviously it'll be the only way to see Marty...
VERY clever of INXS to ask Marty to open for them, wasn't it now??? ;D

PS: I've said the same thing other places, that I'll leave after Marty's done, and I'll bring signs of protest..etc, etc..... I hope Marty has cd's and videos of his own soon, so I don't have to go through INXS to see/hear Marty.. Love and Peace, Reg

I am glad Marty gets to be with the Lovehammers instead of INXS. He can do his own thing now.

I will go to see Marty, but will have to leave before JD comes out. I'm sorry, I respect the fact that he & Marty are friendly, but I cannot stand the man, his performances or his voice. And don't even get me started on that frigging megaphone!!

The megaphone, the shakey finger thing and the crotch grabbing...uuugggghhh! How can anyone find that appealing and not to be too picky but I do not like his mouth! It just totally turns me off! Whereas I think Marty's mouth is very sexy.

I can't wait to see Marty, so I will buy a ticket. I have no interest in J. D. or INXS, but I think of them kind of like an ex-husband. I don't look forward to spending time with my ex-husband, but when that is necessary as a part of a special moment in my children's lives (graduations, weddings, etc.), I do it with respect, because I wouldn't have those great kids without him. We wouldn't have been exposed to Marty (at least not this soon) without the show, so I will show respect for them for that reason.
I will stay because:
1. Rock Star-INXS introduced us to Marty.
2. INXS invited him to open for them.
3. If there is a second RS show, I don't want the 2nd place winner not to get the same invitation because of this tour.
4. Marty showed SO MUCH class and I want to respect HIM.
5. I think that leaving would be something like J. D. would do! It is the same kind of behavior that we found distateful in him.
6. It is just the polite thing to do anyway. I will, however, wear a Marty or LH shirt and be clapping and yelling my heart out for MARTY.

I plan on attending when they come to Orlando and I definitely will stay for the entire thing. For one, as someone mentioned earlier, you never know whether or not Marty might be joining them for a song or two and it would be shame to miss that. And also, we're going to be traveling over four hours to see this concert and I want to see it ALL. I had a love/hate relationship with J.D. the entire time he was on the show but I grew to like and respect him more towards the end. Plus, I have a few friends that really love him, besides the fact that Marty seems to really dig the guy so I'll give him a chance. Will definitely be wearing a Lovehammers tee shirt though. I want to make my loyalties extremely clear!

Another reason to stay: Marty has got to be getting offers all over the place. Tonight he is opening for Jessica Simpson. Dave Navarro wants to do a song with him. If it becomes known that Marty's fans are rude and walk out before the main show, others may be reluctant to ask him to join them.
