Lots of great ideas here -- Love having a Marty quote ("patiently controlling" is a beaut), and www.martycasey.org on the shirt. What do you guys think of a red band around hte arm (especially if it's long-sleeved) to represent the red band marty always wore to show his family/friends he was thinking of them...? It could be our way of letting him know where our thoughts are! Somebody make these Ts -- my wallet's open!

and "KCs" could represent Koolaide Commune and if pronounced, Kay-Cees sounds like Caseys... hehehe

Can we use MartyCasey.org on the shirt? Is there any design regulations that we need to know about? Yes, you can use MartyCasey.org on the shirts. Anything that has a trademark or copyright can't be used - such as logos, photos of Marty, etc. I may have someone working on designs for us. Hang tight! Bummer.. forgot that a photo really is a copyright -- or copywritten.

Well, I know that one of the most intense things about Marty (in a great way) is his eyes. And, he's intense -- also in a good way. I love he "sing it if you know it" idea. What about something with intensity or eyes?!

The easiest way to make T-shirts is to have a shop at Cafepress. I have a couply of Cafepress shops and create designs for another group I'm in. This is how Cafepress works. You open a shop (really easy to do). You create designs (copyright-free ones) and decide which products you want the designs to go on. They have everything from T-shirts to bags to mousepads to mugs. I mean a lot of items! Then, you decied how much you want to charge for the items (a percentage above the base price). People buy stuff from your store. Cafepress handles the shipping, money transactiosn, and so on. Then, Cafepress sends you a check for the profits. It's really easy.
If MartyCasey.org were to have a Cafepress shop, I think it would be great! The fans could create the designs. The profits coud go to charity. The shop could see Marty stuff, but also Lovehammers stuff.
What do the Powers That Be (Cindy & Amy) think?

Very honestly I would not wear a "squee" T-shirt, with reference to eyes, or love or beauty of the artist after the age of 16m, but I would prefer a "coded"message that would remain an enigmatic one for the rest of humanity.

This sounds great, Amy says she has something in the works and now here is another option for her (us) As for the $$$$ MPHO is that all $ go back into the site ;D. Have a contest for the trip to Australia when Marty and Lovehammers end up there Thanks for the input Ceeje, your an awesome support for all of us here. You come up with all sorts of surprises girl

I totally agree with this. I am a woman over the age of 30, married, w/child and can't see myself even with all the love in my heart for Marty wearing something too outlandish especially with my husband right next to me at the show! I like the idea of a shirt that has a message that will remain special to us as his hardcore fans but will be not so easily understood by the general population. In the end, I want to be able to recoqnize my "sisters" from the board while I am at the show(s) and a shirt will be the easiest way to do this.

Just remember everybody, the more places you have things printed on a T-shirt, the more it is going to cost. I know for some people, money is not object, but other fans are on a budget. It would be ideal if there was a selection of T-shirts for different budgets.

I like those "Marty Conducts Me" shirts at Cafepress. Who did that? This guy made some shirts, Sept 17th He put out a message on the RS board for Marty fans. He got the OK from BigBrother and the fellow said he was selling them at cost If anyone would like to make a donation to the Red Cross they could because he wasn't making any $$ (cost price) so preferred people would give the donation directly.

Well, when I told my friend about the shirts she only had this to say, "you are not going to wear some t-shirt to Marty's concert--you gotta look hot!"
