Here's your chance to put T-shirt design ideas out there. ;D What would you want everybody to see on the shirt? Robbin suggested MartyCasey.org. Sorry I forget who suggested the Green shirts Let's have some fun I designed one already but don't think it will fly

Hey guys... We do appreciate the support for MartyCasey.org....but want to make sure that everyone knows that we are a FAN SITE for Marty Casey. While we would love to become an official site or an official fan club....we just can't be labelled official without the permission of Marty and his representation.
Just to clarify the difference in case someone isn't sure what this means.
An Official site is run by or sanctioned by the person/group/film/TV series/etc the site is about. This is usually NOT the actual person, although it can be. It is usually his/her/their management. Most of the time these would be named so-and-so.com Marty and Lovehammers own the domain name MartyCasey.com which is how it should be. Currently it is not active.
A Fan Site is run by fan(s) and pays homage to the person/group/film/TV series/etc the site is about. The domain name here can be just about anything goes within reason....although we selected a .org name with the intent of hopefully organizing a fan club, as .org is usually used for an organization or group. We shall see if it ends up that way or not.
So do not be printing any t-shirt that says Official on it with MartyCasey.org....

Oooops, Sorry Cindy deleted the "Official" out of Subject line. Anything else I or you can do to make this a fun thing for us Fans? Feel like I am gathering information for Marty's new marketing Manager - T shirt division. Now to reframe this fau paux I have made about "Official" how do we get "Official"? What's Marty's phone number and I'll call him and explain the boo-boo. I'll take total responsibility for the mistake Might as well give me Lovehammers # too. I'll call and explain my actions. One of the questions I will ask is Why aren't we "Official"? We want to be don't we? Well now here's another Poll Guess I'm getting too excited about things. I don't even know the in's and out's of an "Official" anything Oh Goddess Cindy, Any and Robbin tell me what to do!! and I'll do it Sorry again QuoteYesterday at 8:12pm, Robin wrote: P.S. Those ideas about wearing the green shirts or LH shirts are great! But wouldn’t it be cool if we had Marty Casey.org shirts so when we were at the concerts we could recognize fellow forum friends???
Robin, I really like the idea too There is a lot of talent on this board to design the Marty Casey.org official T-shirt. Here's my creation Long sleeve T-shirt colour Kelly green shirt, Marty Casey.org in white bold lettering on the back, Lovehammers in black bold lettering on the front waist, Tree Huggers in orange lettering on the arms, Sisterhood of Women in bold red celigraphy on the chest and Kool-Aid in bold yellow lettering with a yellow stain spot between SOW & LH Did I forget anybody
Come to think of it maybe it is time to have a contest to design a one size fit all logo
Mine looks like a box of crayons got loose

No Kool Aid?

No Kool Aid? Hi asthmaticagnostic, sorry this is my first time using a polling button. I thought everyone was going to get to make their own choices to what they wanted to see on a T-shirt On my first (fantasy) T shirt, I included Kool-Aid (see above message) I also blundered on this and put Kool-Aid yellow cause there was no peach colour on the chart. Back to the original poll button...my understanding now is when you are going to have a poll there is a window of 8 questions and you fill in your answer. This is what I thought everyone would see and they would put in 8 objects if they wanted to. I thought I would start off with 4 answers then see what happens when others gave their answers. As we see it is just the four items and not everyone is able to put their own design or add what they want to see on a shirt ugh!!! Totally screwed it up and of course not knowing what to do about it just left it the way it was. Till somebody gives me a hand to tell me what to do with this thread. I could go back and make another one and not put "Official" (which I was able to delete out of the Subject window) Couldn't figure out how to take the other "Official" off the Title thread, I think that's what it's called. So now I sit and wait for our busy Mods to give me direction Not touching anything for fear of making another big mess. Rest assure if Cindy, Amy or Robbing say it's OK to do another poll Kool-Aid will be there. Couldn't forget you Kool-Aid guys cause Amy loves you and she is part of that community

I like the MartyCasey.org shirts. Although I think if it's going to be something worn to the concerts it needs to be something that people from all boards would be willing to wear.
It's always fun for each board to design what they want to use to represent their own board.
For someone else we all wore red shirts. Then each board had something different to represent themselves. One tour each board made what looked like tour passes with our board names on them. One tour we did trading pins. Just some different ideas.

I do not have a problem with people wearing MartyCasey.org buttons, or ribbons or t-shirts or g-strings or whatever. I just wanted to make sure the word Official didn't come into play.
Have fun....design or make whatever shirt you want. The URL is just fine to include.

(although I'm not sure about the g-strings...lol) Poor Trees---were you getting yourself in trouble? I think you started a fun thread. Like I said, if we had Marty Casey.org shirts then when we were at the concerts we could recognize fellow forum friends! But just make sure to leave that "Official" word out.

Hi Trees, I am not in the Kool-Aid community, but I read with amusement that some fans pinned Kool Aid bags to their shirts at the concert...I thought it was kinda cool! It's sweet to read about your efforts and do not feel bad about it, I couldn't make anything if I wanted to! A European who loves Canada, Canadians and Canadian trees! (There is a wonderful song by Rush called The Trees...)

Great idea to have a MARTY t-shirt.
It has to have someting to do with TREES on it and LH's, I am hopeless at designing things but would be more than happy to wear whatever you guys come up with. Maybe the front could be something to do with TREES and Marty's name and on the back MartyCasey.org
Helen.

If you go to a site like Cafepress, you can design your own shirt with any pic/logo you want on it. If we can't agree on a design, everybody can just make their own shirt, but then all shirts should have martycasey.org somewhere on them. That way we can recognise each other at shows.
(Although I'll be hard to miss. I'll be the one being dragged away by security after launching myself at the stage...!)

Hi Trees, I'm a Canadian woman going to the QE Theatre and I'm going to wear my pink Lovehammers shirt. If you make up a Marty shirt in time I want to buy one for sure. Either way I'd like to get Marty to sign it. Where do you think Lovehammers will go after the concert to get a taste of Vancouver night life? I'd like to try to find them at a club after the concert. Total Hammerhead
