What about this design? It's kind of simple, but I like it. It would work well on a white baby T-shirt. The heart could be different colors to designate different countries.

Maybe I'm boring or whatever but I voted for having a small tree...If there was any writing on it I might not wear it again, but if it was just a tree I could wear it with anything at anytime...though I do dig ceeje's.

The simplicity is wonderful, ceeje 2 colours and to the point! Great idea for the countries too. Going to forward this to Amy ;D How did u do that? I'm a no mind with this kind of stuff. Yet I keep trying

Yet I keep trying I use a program called Microsoft Picture It. It's really easy to use. You select "new picture." Add a shape (you can pick from lots of shapes), select the tree shape. Add another shape; select the heart shape. Add text. Then you can change the size and color of each layer. You can save it in any picture format, including one that allows you to go back and make changes later. It's a really easy program. I find myself using it more than any of the other ones I have. Glad you liked it.

I just got an e-mail from Cafepress that said they have black t-shirts now!
Edit: It's just a plain T-shirt. No baby T's. But, they say that they will be adding other products and other colors soon.

Very cute ceeje!! I think it would be much cuter on a baby tee or even a tank rather than a plain t-shirt. Do they have a black tank? Just a thought. ;D

Hey, MartyLovers! I went to my CafePress shop and did some experimenting. (I just used mine to make the images to post. I'm not going to sell them.) Here are some options for T-shirts styles (and some other things, too) that could be sold in a MartyCasey.org shop. The shirts: Women's Tanks: A journal to write all your Marty dreams! A pillow to hug (since you can't hug Marty). To cover your head (or hide a bad hair day): Er...Martyify your drawers: We could add MartyCasey.org at the base of the tree. You could use free stores at Cafepress. You would just have to open a different store for each different design. You could link all the stores together. You could price everything $2 above the base price, keeping $1 for the running of MartyCasey.org and donating the other $1 to a charity. James Marsters (Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer) fans donate charity money to pediatric AIDS research. I'm sure there must be some charity that is important to Marty. With a little research, we could probably figure it out. Operating a CafePress shop (or set of shops) is really easy. These are just ideas I'm throwing out there. :~D Let me know what you think.

Guys... I appreciate the sentiment and all but I cannot have anything with MartyCasey.org on it for sale. Sorry. Just not allowed as a fan site which operates as "solely for entertainment purposes. " Our site gets use of content, pictures, etc because "No money is being made" and because the site is operated under the assumption that this not-for-profit use." Since the shirts aren't being given away, or are by donation only... we can't do these. Design your own shirts...fine just don't put MartyCasey.org on them.
I know everyone meant well and the thought is appreciated.

Besides, everyone can still order T-shirts from the LH site: www.geocities.com/slhammers_2000/Merch_New2.html. :~D

So a little birdy in a tree asked me to contribute to this conversation..... Having read ALL 3 pages of posts....I think the whole idea is terrific!!......... There are alot of good ideas floating around..... If this were a Lovehammer's fan site (it is but only SORT of...) I'd say the LH logo should be on the shirt....?? This is of course a Marty Casey fan site....so I agree that MartyCasey.Org be present on the shirt.........somewhere...... I also agree that a "quote..." is needed on the shirt..... As far as having the shirt's designed in relation to Country, state, province, etc.....I think there should be one generic shirt design...and then that could be expanded on at the discretion of the individual or group..... I've been racking my feeble brain trying to envision something......you may or may not like it........and it WILL be difficult to agree on one set design...... Here it is...... (Tshirt, Sweatshirt, G-String, etc.....) Color-Black (Logo) Over the right breast...... MartyCasey.Org (circular from left to right)...encircling a tree...... Both the text and tree should stand out vibrantly against the black in bold striking colors. On the sleeves of the tshirt should be 'E=MC2' - everyone will ask what that means!!!....So you can all tell them.....what a great conversation opener!!....lol On the back..........."Sing it if you know it!".......... All text in bold vibrant color that will stand out against the black....... Here's why I like this design....... The theme needs to be subdued (Like Marty)...but have a powerful presence (Like Marty)....the shirt needs to convey control (Like Marty)....and the shirt needs to look great! (Like Marty....going by what the ladies are saying....lol)..... Remember the shirt must not infringe on any copyrights.....or things deemed to be 'Official' Ok...that's my two cents......... Thanks! Stiletto, remember this post? have you had anymore little birdies talking to you around how to get a Marty T-Shirt out? Even if the T-shirt is for us Canadians
