I'd like to add "Laid" by James. It was a semi-hit back in the 90s, but my radio station has been playing it a lot lately.
I always think of Marty when I hear the line "Dye my eyes and call me pretty", and also the way the singer pronounces some of the words.

I wonder what he'd do with C is for Cookie lol... or that catastrophe of a song..... Feelings  If Marty could do Britney the way he did, he surely can do anything and make it amazing.... hey Gingerpyle, Offspring did a cover of Feelings, it's a pretty rockin' version, I love it. So if they can do it, I KNOW Marty would do a kick-a$$ version! ;D |

Every time I hear turn on the radio and they're playing the chorus of the new GooGoo Dolls song 'Better Days', I think it's Marty or a song Marty sang on RSINXS. I can't quite figure out why.
The verses don't remind me of Marty, just the chorus.
It goes:

Ok, I have a song I'd like to hear Marty sing - how about 'Ring of Fire' by Johnny Cash. & I'll get to hear him sing it on Feb. 7!  Marty has such great taste in which song's he's going to cover - Paint it Black and Ring of Fire. This concert is going to be great! |

Truthfully, I'd like to see him do a little bit of the Eagles. I think he could add an interesting twist to "Tequila Sunrise" and "Hotel California".

I would love to hear him belt out "Monkey Business" by Skid Row. Sabastian has that screamin' voice, and I think Marty could do awesome. I love the way Marty screams and gets into it.

I would love to hear LH do The Beatles' "I Want You (She's So Heavy)". Can you imagine Marty singing, seductively, that he wants you so ba-a-a-a-a-a-d? Double bonus is Billy cranking out the sexy guitar solos (and Marty dancing to it... it always comes back to Marty, doesn't it? ).  Double THUD |
