Now I wish I was sooo much more creative! I sent in Hammerheads and Hammerheads. . . Lustfully yours! for titles. A bit much I'm sure, but OOOOHHHHH HOW appropriate.

OMG, Juliana how does one even begin to follow you...I have to pick myself up off the keyboard and regroup my brain cells everytime you post! I threw an idea out to Amy for the cover a couple days ago... FUSION (Cover art - montage - early band pic and now - maybe Metro.) Sort of 21st centuryish.....to show the evolution of the Hammers til now with some new (as in RS) Marty...not that there was a thing wrong with the "old" Marty, of course.  Are you saying I don't make sense? I love the Fusion idea. That may be my favourite so far. It's appropriate and works well with your graphic idea. I can totally picture the visual. |

Okay, here are my ideas: Penny on My Mind L'Penny What? No? I like the second one, but you spelled it wrong. It's L'Julianah. um, that would be L'Wench, i think! lol, this thread has been great -- so many cool ideas here & on the hammer board, & what a trip to be involved in the process! nail-biting fun, & on my mind since i read that call to submit! at least now i can try to get on with life... i sent in a few -- meant to stop, but then couldn't -- musta sent four emails in all! first idea - "come out swinging" with a closeup shot of a batter in a white sox uniform swinging a bat toward the camera -- little chicago touch, with a tiny homage to the band's former, longer name then... Step It Up - maybe a shot of the Lovehammers coming onto a stage Next Move - some kind of game, like guys playing checkers in a park or a close-up of chess pieces or somethin' and how about these all-too-obvious ideas!: Nail It - hammer hitting a nail Get Hammered - just the Lovehammers logo Tools in Hand - burly repair guy from behind wearing tool belt loaded with hammers -- ha!!! ok, got carried away with "tool time" then after listening to MOMM on the way to work, sent in some lyric-based stuff: face to face hold on blow you away life don't wait am thinking i'll wind up in the "nice try, better luck next album" or "what were you thinking?!" categories, but it was fun -- & it's amazing to think our ideas will be "face to face" with the hammers soon! thanks, cindy & amy, for your liaison role! |

I kept saying "performance photo," "performance photo," like a broken record, with every title idea I submitted.) I love your "Come Out Swinging"! |

I think it is important that the band be on the cover..........just the band.........no instruments......... The album would sell more copies if they were on the cover.......... I think you'd agree.....right girls!?  What's not to about this idea? Hot guys + hot music = huge sales! ;D Good luck to everyone who sent in ideas..and whatever they decide to do...go with a fan suggestion or come up with something on their own....it will rock!  |

I think I sent in about 12 title suggestions. But the categories they may fall under are: 1. File "13" 2. Too dorky 3. Go back to writing class 101 4. Stay off the computer 5. We have a winner (maybe 1 out of the 12) There are some real creative minds out there based on what I've read. I may post my titles later but then again, maybe not. Good luck, all ;D Hey rockfan - don't beat yourself up. I'm sure they're just as good as anything else out there. I'm mad at myself for not going ahead and submitting what I had worked on. Instead I overthought it and only sent in a few. All night and all morning long graphics idea were just flowing around in my head, but of course I didn't have any solid ideas until after the deadline. I wouldn't be disappointed at all if they decided to do a self-titled CD. I even thought "Defend Chicago" would be practical because that seems to be their motto and all. |

(p.s. like your "green world" moniker!) i figured there'd have to be duplications too -- maybe the hammers will go for something suggested more than once, as that would show it had a certain popular appeal (maybe all the submitters would get a big marty party -- yippee!). and the original post recommended using available visuals, since time may not permit a photo shoot -- so your suggestion is spot on every time. who doesn't like seeing the boys in action?! |

Since the Lovehammers are from Chicago, The "Windy City" and their becoming more well known to new fans worldwide thank's to Rockstar INXS.Things are moving at a fast pace for them. Their gathering strength as a band, their on a whirlwind, and their in the eye of the storm right now. This also describes the wind. It caresses you, you feel it, you can hear it, you can see it. It surrounds you. Just like Lovehammer's music. It would be nice to see the band on the cover in the forground, outside, with the wind blowing all around them (at night of course) with the skylights of the windy city (Chicago) in the background. Simple but it relates to their true background. My title would be "Perpetual Motion". Relating to the wind and the Lovehammers . Another title was "Whirlwind". I had another idea to but will save that for later. Your ideas made me think that 'Whirlwind' would be a great title. All the changes they're living in right now are like a whirlwind, they're from the windy city and their concerts make people feel like they're in a whirlwind. |

We liked so many album titles, and wanted to use a few - we had the artwork ideas ready to go and everything. Turns out that we have to use Marty's name in the title for reasons beyond our control for this album, but don't sweat it - the music is still the same, and we are still Lovehammers.
We will get everyone's ideas for the next album!!!!!

Dino's note makes a lot of sense. I think they would be nuts NOT to use Marty's name in the title of the album, given HE is the one who initially picked up millions of fans from Rockstar INXS. Lovehammers will have those millions on their band wagon in time, I expect.
