Does anyone else have any of the Video Catnip tapes? I bought one for my cat on eBay. He's never paid attention to the tv before so when I turned the video on and he just kept sleeping, I wasn't surprised. The first few minutes of the tape are images of birds with music playing in the background. After that part, the music goes away and it's just birds and squirrels. Anyway, Hank's ears perked up at that point and he bolted over to the TV. It's hilarious. He's mesmerized by it. His little head goes up and down and back and forth watching the birds. At one point a squirrel dropped a nut on screen and Hank was actually frantically searching on the floor for it. He's an outdoor kitty so he gets to see real birds and squirrels all the time, but he still loves this tape. I think an indoor cat would go absolutely ballistic. Anyway, just thought I'd mention it in case anyone else is looking for more ways to entertain (and spend $$ on) their feline friends. I have one now Julianah. Cindy's cyber Xmas Card Thumper loves it. First he runs to the door and looks both ways to see if he can spot the dog. Lots of fun Seems like a good way to teach him not to bark all the time, practice, practice, practis... he's still in the training stage ;D Here's his pic

..I just have to share the most precious Christmas present I think I have ever got. My daughter's female German Shephard is about 7 years old and since I got her that puppy, I have wanted and craved a male Shephard to breed and to just love. My sweet kids saved their money and found me that male shephard this year, and I feel just like a little kid when I saw him, have never got anything so special and heartfelt, with a big red bow around his kneck. He is 12 weeks old and pure white AKC registered German Shephard and just so adorable and cute. Will take a picture later on and post it. We named him Spirit Hammerhead Davis...I call him Hammerhead and the kids are calling him Spirit, wonder which one he'll pick. Just wanted to share a bit of my magic this morning and wishing everyone a Merry Christmas today. Oh, and his paws are HUGE, about the size of my hands already, does this mean he will be a monster of a pup? My hammerhead...lol.....Later all..>Nancy

I have two furbaby cats - Tiggy & Bailey. They are about 5 years old and are brothers. Tiggy is an orange tabby and Bailey is cream colored (Irish cream colored, hence the name!) Here's a photo:

I have seven cats - Abu, Ana, Elmo, Gabby, Nugget, Pirouette, and Zachary. 5 of them are 10 years or older, and 2 of them are 2 years old. I also feed 3 "stray" cats on my porch and various other creatures that probably come out at night. My husband has 5 fish. Various goldfish and koi. We started out with 13 of them about 6 years ago and we have lost 8 of them, but I figure that's a good long life for them. We are so in love with our pets, and it is great to read that you all are too!

I thought I'd freshen up this thread since I have a new photo (and am trying to take more). I was ambitious and purchased one of these: tinyurl.com/y9q6xeHere is the first photo with Tiggy. We have a few weeks to work on getting used to the hat! ;D Needless to say, he isn't amused.
