Helen -- YAY on your news about Dr. Taverner! It makes SUCH a difference to find a doctor that will really listen, and then to find one that will really listen AND has a treatment plan to boot! Definitely an answer to prayers.
Will keep sending prayers and positive waves your way.
Best wishes on showing "our" little Marty!

Hiya!!! Now I thought it was gonna dry out and I got all excited this morning to see a glorious blue sky with no clouds. I filled the HH with washing and wouldn't you know it...yep...the clouds started to roll in and the bloody sky broke open again! I've nearly had all I can take of this rain. I don't want it to stop, I just want it to fall where its needed. Coooeee Helen, I'm sure you could use a couple of weeks of it. Maybe we should just hook up a big pipeline and send it down to Victoria...solve the desalination plant debate ;D ;D ;D Yep, I agree with Dawn, 6-8 months will fly by...look how fast this year is flying already! GOOD LUCK at the show with Little Marty tomorrow...he's already a winner. So Dawn Am I to understand you are getting no job satisfaction now you have to work?? How dare they interrupt your routine ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Henry Hows it going girlfriend?!?! oh my new dog is a beauty isn't he He's only gonna be a little dog, craaaazzzzyyy but little. I'm off to NZ next month to celebrate my birthday with Palari. I cannot wait! We're planning to get together the same weekend as Hammerfest...and not going anywhere near a PC ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D So, the countdown to Hammerfest begins Den, only a month to go. I so wish I could be there, I'm sure its gonna be crazy fun with a bit more of the bumpity-bump-bump along the way ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D good times hey...isn't life great!!!! ciao girls PS Helen My sister has finally taken me through the Stargate...yep yep yep, SG-1 is my latest addiction. Go figure, I never thought I'd get into the Sci-Fi stuff. She is trying to talk me into going to a Stargate Convention with her in August. She keeps telling I'll get to meet Richard Dean Anderson. ;D ;D ;D I told her I got me my own sexy grey haired action dude at home!!

Jet hiya chick, sorry I've not been on here much lately, they've given me work to do and I'm kinda proving a point that I can do it - my boss is still an arse, but I've got to find a way to work with him. Things are better - on Wednesday I said to my mate that for the first time in a long time, I felt like I'd done a days work! I got told yesterday by our MD that I'm a difficult person to manage as I like to be busy and structured with my work. I always saw that as a positive trait? If he'd said you're difficult to manage because you've got an attitude, I'd of agreed! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D I can't believe you're watching Stargate. That was one obsession of Art's that stopped when we got together! Then again, I think he had watched most of them with his brother! At the moment I think the only TV I can't wait for the next season of is Prison Break. I watched series 1 & 2 (because I'd bought them for Art for Christmas) and now I'm wating for season 3 on DVD. I refuse to read any spoilers or anything for this series - of course, Wentworth Miller makes it worthwhile! Huge hugs to Helen too I hope all is going well with you & you're recovery. Well, I've prattled on for long enough, I really should go & do some work.

Oh, I think Richard Dean Anderson in Seasons 1 & 2 is enough to like Stargate!!!! ;D ;D My boys love Prison Break but I have never watched it. We have both season on DVD too.

OK, I have been putting off posting until I had photos to go with my show report but I still don't have the phtos but I just have to tell you that 'our' MARTY did us all proud and won his class and then took off the CHAMPIONSHIP in his section I was extremely pleased with him and came home a very happy camper, we didn't stay for our 2 classes in the afternoon as it was stinking hot (110F) and my leg could go no more so we packed up and got home at a reasonable time. Boy have I been sick for the passed 2 days, but it was worth it to win at Australia's largest horse show!!! Marty needs improving in a couple of areas and I have about 3 weeks to fine tune him before his next big show on March 14th, which I am already looking forward to. So, will post photos as sson as they arrive. Very proud of our boy to beat such a huge line up of wonderful horses and some of them very experienced show horses, he is only a yearling after all, he does have a big future ahead of him. I am still on cloud 9 really as I didn't expect to win the championship, would've just been happy to have placed, so my hard work really has paid off and I am so excited. OK, will be back soon with photos, bye for now. Helen & Marty

The sun is shining again but we are still getting a shower or two each day. At least its not torrential rain anymore Congratulations Helen and Little Marty I agree with Den, your determination and strength is amazing Well girls, I got a new job. I am now the new engineering officer (in training) of the water cycle at the council. Can't tell you all how excited I am. I also have to spend a few more years at uni studing for an associate degree in civil engineering, but I can do it!.......What the hell is calculus? ;D ;D ;D ;D Really, all I know is its maths and it sounds really really scary. I'm sure by the end of this semester I will know what it is ;D ;D ;D ;D I am off to New Zealand in the morning to spend a week with Palari If I don't go now I don't think I'll get the chance this year with my new job. Careful on the celebration thingo Den. You gotta pace yourself with Hammerfeast oops Hammerfest coming up ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D BTW Flatland loves the little motorbike smilie at the end of your post. He was doing tricks on his tramp bike the other night (a tramp bike is basically a BMX with no wheels/pedals that is taped up so it doesn't tear the mat. He uses it to learn tricks he can then try on the jumps) Anyways, he comes walking into the house with blood all over him. The bike hit him in the forhead while he was doing a backflip tailwhip barspin thingamijig and split him open. ten stitches later and he's fine! Ah...the life of Flatlanda ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Cooeee Dawn I'll drop in for a chat when I get back. catch up next week girls mwah J

Hello all, JET, BIG CONGRATULATIONS on your new job, thats awesome news. Hope you are having a terrific time in New Zealand with Palari. Den, hope you are still pacing yourself for Hammerfest, you guys will all be there when I am with my Marty (horse) on March 14th at his next show. Hopefully we both have the great time we want. OK, I have a few photos to share, they are only small as they are the proofs but they are better than nothing. But you can see how gorgeous 'our' Marty has turned out! First is Marty and I working out for the judge. Then the next 2 are Marty posing with his winning ribbons. This one is Me and Marty. Ok, catch you all later, cheers, Helen.
