Sorry didn't post about LOST last week, was a little miffed at the episode, a tad confusing in parts.
It's back on tonight so i will post after that to let you know where we are up to. It is slowly picking up the pace again.

OK,
Here is what us Aussies are up to.
Last week was all about Claire and her baby and her remembering about being in the hatch when she was abducted and the tests done on the baby etc.
The baby was sick with a fever and rash but came good at end of episode.
I am gathering we are supposed to think that the dark haired girl that helped Claire escape was Alexander (Danielle's duaghter) as she would've been about 16 ish.
When they got to the hatch it was empty except for a few weird things like actors make up & clothes etc (weird).
Nothing much happened with Henry gale except more people in the camp know he is there.
Ordinary episode really.

This week, Ana Lucia gets the supposed map from Henry where the balloon is and his wife is buried and her, Sayid and Charlie go and look for it. Henry is playing the game well, he has got Locke and Jack against each other and now has the idea in their heads that he has set a trap for the 3 looking for the balloon.

Lots of background on Sun and Jin and Sun is now pregnant, obviously with the guy that taught her english, it must be his baby?! As Jin is impotent. Right.

Well thats about it for tonight, next week looks as tho Locke is trapped inside the hatch or something similar, thats about all we see on the add for next week.

What inportance did the preg test manufacturer have on anything, can't remember the name, Widmore Laboritories or something.

Still seem to be getting nowhere fast with these last 3 or 4 episodes.

So what are your thoughts and what can you add to help me out? PLEASE

Don't forget about that hatch Claire was in.....it plays a part later. Remember the stuff that was in it - it all plays into a bigger (much bigger) picture.

Watch very carefully next week when Locke gets trapped. Remember what he sees.

I enjoyed this last season of The Amazing Race. My favorite couple, the "nerds," didn't make it but by the end I liked the two hippies! The older couple did VERY well.....they should be very proud of themselves.

Does anyone listen the to the official podcast with the ex producers? k so this year well all bitched and moaned about the 3 weeks on with new episodes and then 3 weeks off thing that next season they will start the season in sept like normal and then run 6 new episodes in a row, then a 12 week hiatus....um....hello!!!!! 12 week hiatus and then they will be back in Feb through May with all new episodes every week without a break. That's worse than the summer break between seasons is it not? okay rant over, thanks for listening to a crazy island goil!

That sucks!!! Why do shows do this? I'm a fan of The 4400 and they took a year off. Didn't the Sopranos do that too? Granted, they're cable, but still.....

yeah, i don't get why all the hiatus' either. the lost dudes did explain that there are fewer episodes in a season of LOST than there are in other shows that also run sept-may due to all the technical stuff that is done in each episode. but why not just start the season so that all the episodes run in a row but still end during sweeps time. i don't think LOST fans would complain about having to wait for the season to start if they know they will be well taken care of

Did Desmond die?
The castaway seemingly martyred himself in the hatch, but "it would be a real shame for him to be dead," says Lindelof. In fact, the 30-second sequence in which he hit the fail-safe button "sets up everything to follow in season three," says Cuse.

Where are the Desmond seekers really?
The Portugese-speaking men tracking Desmond appeared to be in a blizzard, but "Portugese is only spoken in Brazil and Portugal," hints Cuse.

Are The Others the good guys?
"Who has killed more people since they went to the island, our guys or The Others?" asks Lindelof.

Did the explosion affect Charlie?
The ex-heroin addict is unfazed by the hatch explosion, but "comes back changed," says Cuse.

Henry Gale impersonator and The Others will be explored. "We deal with who these people are," says Lindelof.

Even with Jack, Kate, and Saywer in the clutches of The Others, "we're really going to explore romatnic relationships," says Cuse.

Hi Amy,

Well, fake Henry or Fenry as my sister calls him. I knew he wasn't who he said he was from the beginning but then they found the balloon and the grave. But I knew my initial instincts were correct, he must be one of the others.
He did say his wifes name was Elizabeth didn't he?
Is there any connection with Libby from the tailers and his wife? Just a thought.

OK, I saw the drawing on the wall when the lights went blue, looked like english and Latin writing but just too quick to be able to work out what it was, I think it has something to do with all the hatches but I'll have to do some research on that, haven't had time yet.
Had too many extra shifts at work lately to have spare time and am actually on the late shift today 4-midnight, so there goes my evening AGAIN!

Going into hospital on Tuesday for surgery Wednesday so will have to get someone to tape LOST for me as I will be away for at least a week or so. Gotta tape SUPERNATURAL as well, love that show.

So YES, I am more confused now than ever.
But then with LOST that is nothing out of the ordinary is it?

I'm glad you're keeping up through the boggy episodes. But it continues to get better!

I hope your surgery goes okay. Are you going to have a long recovery period?

Hey Amy,

I have been in and out of hospital for surgery to this leg injury for nearly a year now.

It was caused by one of my horses, my stallion (who is now dead) not because he savaged me but because of illness.

He savaged my leg and did an enormous amount of damage to muscle, tissue and nerves. Unfortunately the majority of the nerve damage is permanent as crushed nerves cannot be fixed and unlike Dino's finger this is a whole bunch of nerves not just a single nerve like in his finger, that attach to the main nerve that runs right down my left side. If they tried to fix it and it failed I would be paralyzed completely down my left side. So needless to say no surgeon will attempt it as the outcome might not be good.

This surgery is to repair the muscle a little more and clean up any scar tissue that is pressing on the damaged nerves to alleviate the pain I am constantly in. Just walking is like having a knife stab you with each step. So I am hoping they can do something but as my surgeon says, we may help, we may not and we might even possibly make it worse by trying again but I have to try as I can't live with the pain like it is as no painkillers work even morphine or pethidine based ones. Serious nerve damage is extremely hard to fix and kill the pain.

If this lot of surgery doesn't give me some relief I am going to have to sell all my horses, even Glenene Casey (Trees). It will be a sad day if it comes to this. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

So it will be a reasonable recovery of about a month and then back to work. Unless I win the lottery!
