We are about a month behind on the new episodes which they air on the ABC (similar to your BBC). I just get to watch sooner cause my sister is a Whovian as well!

Jet, I was checking out the Torchwood con coming up in June. Didn't even know it was going to be in Chicago. Have you purchased the full out package where you get the meet and greets and all the photo sessions with the guests? It sounds like that will be a fantastic time.

We get things so far behind you guys in watching the show, and it hasn't been on in months here (except lots of reruns). And we record so many other shows that I can't record Dr. Who or Torchwood.

I think the last episode that was new here was that 2 parter where Donna and Rose meet. I really do miss Rose - but I'm glad she got her own Dr. Who. And I wonder if Donna will be back, too - since she's sort of part Timelord now. I think one of my favorite episodes was with Dr. Who's daughter. I'm sorry they didn't keep her around longer.

Unfortunately, I never remember episode titles, so I can't list them that way.

I did get the full package for the Torchsong Con! My sister is a huge Torchwood/John Barrowman fan and it was all her idea! I totally agree, it should be a fantastic weekend.

Now if you've seen the episode where Rose gets the Doctor and Donna becomes part Time Lord then you're only two special episodes behind! That two parter was the 2008 season finale. So, did you cry when Rose got her Doctor?? I did cause although Rose got her Doctor, The Doctor didn't get his Rose

The two episodes to come are the 2008 Christmas Special called The Next Doctor



And the one Dawn and I just watched, the Easter Special called Planet of the Dead



The next one is due out in a couple of months and its called The Waters of Mars.

Let me know if you haven't seen them by the time I leave for the US and I will bring them for you

I haven't heard any announcements yet of new shows here. If the first special was a Christmas special - they may wait until Christmas 2009! ;D ;D ;D

I know the entire time Rose was on the show, I was hoping for the kiss that Rose finally gave to her doctor. But it was really sad for the Doctor not to get his Rose.

Jet - love those pics but then I guess that's not a shocker. New Earth seemed to be on all weekend - good old Face of Boe and Cassandra! Could have done with them showing a different episode by the 3rd time I watched it over the weekend! ;D

How good was Torchwood - Children of Earth!!!!!!

I most of my way through Day Four & Day Five




I had my own theories on what would happen in season 3 and I was kind of expecting some of the events but I was still totally floored by it all. The storyline was brilliant and I think the ending was absolute perfection!




PC Andy was brilliant as always



I like Tom Price even more after I met him (complete with broken wrist from looking to the wrong side of the road) in Chicago. Still haven't got my pics back I had taken with him (and Gareth) yet but will be sure to post them for you when I do.

So, any theories as to the future of Torchwood? Maybe we will get a different kind of Captain Jack adventure...

I missed the first showing of Children of Earth. But I've got it set to record this week. So hopefully I will catch up with you guys soon. Can't wait to see it!

Jet - Thanks for the pics Children of earth - what can I say....... well, it's about time we got the Torchwood we were promised, an adult sci-fi that wasn't about swearing or sleeping with each other - as that's what RTD had written before. As much as I like the light-heartidness of it all before, this just totally blew that out of the water. So sad, so gripping, so very tense for the first few episodes - but for anyone worrying - Cardiff IS still there! I think they're playing cricket there at the moment - UK verses Australia I don't know - don't understand it! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Love your pics Jet - PC Andy should help run things! Apparently talk of another season of Torchwood depended on ratings for this 5 parter, so there should be something else. I think it'll be Martha/Mickey/Gwen/Louis and an alien to run it all. Did Spike die when he was in it - sorry James Marsters? If not, maybe he could run things? Maybe the Doctor will talk Jack into going back & running the show. We'll have to see I guess.

If you get BBC America on cable or satellite, then you can get Dr. Who. I've recorded the most recent shows, including Children of Earth, but still haven't had time to watch them yet. I will be so happy when I can actually just sit back and relax for a little bit.

For those of you lucky enough to get Dr Who (for those of you not - there's always the net! ) the new special episode airs on Sunday 15th for us! I can't wait!
