I checked out the link on MC.org home page but don't see where I would be able to listen in tomorrow on their broadcast (other than a premium area). Am I missing something? Artzylady

Artzylady Most of us won't be able to listen to it live. You do have to be a podcast subscriber if you don't have a station that broadcasts the show. You can check here: www.mancow.com/stationfinderI am sure that before the day is over MC.org will have the interview up and it will be a lot easier than having to sit through the entire broadcast. I am so excited to hear it. I'm wondering if they'll perform. I bet they're so pumped up for the Metro show.

I'll look forward to hearing the interview from MC.org too.

Checked out the link you added but the link on the Mancow site leads to nothing. Guess you've gotta be a member for that too. Thx anyway.

It was just letting those who can listen to Mancow live know that the Lovehammers are scheduled to come on at 9:45 am. I also think it means that they are in studio so hopefully Mancow will treat them better than he treated Marty on the phone.....

If anyone can summarize the interview... I would appreciate it. At work with no speakers to listen to anything today.... whoa is me...

Unfortunately, there's not a lot to summarize. As was the case last time, Mancow doesn't give much time to anyone to talk except him and his gang of sidekicks.
When the band first got there, Mancow was joking around because one of his sidekicks is a HUGE Lovehammers fan, so Mancow was ripping on him for fawning all over Marty and thinking Marty walks on water. But the sidekick said that even though he knew Mancow was trying to embarrass him, it wasn't going to work because he was so glad the Lovehammers were there. Marty joked for a few seconds with them, when he could squeeze in a word, and then thanked Mancow for supporting him while he was on RS:INXS. That was it.
Eventually, the Lovehammers played Trees live. It sounded awesome, but they cut off the very end because it was the top of the hour and the station had to go to commercials. The show isn't quite over yet so there is a minor chance they'll still go back and talk to them a little bit...but nothing yet.
Aside from hearing a few seconds of Marty talking and hearing the song, which was great, it is yet another disappointing taste of Mancow.
I guess I'll just have to focus on the fact that it's nice that he mentions the Lovehammers and has had them on since it's a nationally syndicated show. Spread the love.

At least Trees got on air. Something else to be Thankful for... I agree with that. Anything to help the band. Thanks for the summary, lesley!

Well, how did "Trees" sound? How does it compare to the RS version, etc, etc, etc.

Well, how did "Trees" sound? How does it compare to the RS version, etc, etc, etc. It sounded very much like the Lovehammers' Trees demo that most of us have heard. It was full-band electric (as opposed to acoustic by himself), it was the long version (as opposed the shortened version he did on the RS), and it was definitely the rock version (as opposed the poppier version on RS). Good all around. ;D
