there were fewer people there than at a small LH concert. standing directly in front of them...hardly a stage. Glooooorrrriiaaaaaaaaa Did you have any idea what you were witnessing? Did you like them? i was totally in love with this guy friend of mine all senior year. he was a dj at the school radio station. very into music. he kept talking about this band U2 and turned me on to them.. the only song i knew was i will follow. then gloria. that was it. i had no idea what i was witnessing. there were literally like NO people there. |

By the time U2 got to Ashtung Baby, they were losing me. Too mainstream and conventional leaning...and when Bono started wearing feather boas and those fly glasses, that was it. I love Achtung Baby. It's one of favorite albums ever. Sorry- and love the shades. Although when he started it I thought he was out of his mind. I Achtung Baby...but they lost me during the whole Popmart thing...until All that You Can't Leave Behind. |

Did you have any idea what you were witnessing? Did you like them? i was totally in love with this guy friend of mine all senior year. he was a dj at the school radio station. very into music. he kept talking about this band U2 and turned me on to them.. the only song i knew was i will follow. then gloria. that was it. i had no idea what i was witnessing. there were literally like NO people there.
