whitelotus, I hardly think that this site is responsible for negativity towards MC and/or the LH. And I doubt that we have caused them any stress. Dino, in particular, knows there are a bunch of "goofballs" out there. ;D Die hard fans are always going to complain about the changing of the name. I do agree - people need to get over that. LH are doing what is best for them right now. However, I think a little lighthearted joking about one photo being better than another is more than fine coming from people that are obviously obsessed fans.

Don't worry everyone! I have enlarged the photo and it DOES look ALOT better! Done out of love for my Lovehammers! LMAO It looks like Billy's looking right at them, thinking WTH. I agree with chitown. But I also believe the band appreciates the fans being honest. If they're reading this board don't you think they'd want to know how the fans (those that are already devoted and love them) feel about such things as the covers. If the true fans think there's somethink funky about it they might take that to heart. We want them to be presented in the best possible way. I want them to be a house hold name.

Now that they've signed to a major label, I feel they could sell out. And wtf's with the new name - that's just the corporate rock wh*res r*ping the band - milking Marty's publicity shamelessly. And their already re-releasing songs......to me this rings alarm bells that already their creative juices are running dry.... I'm just scared that people will forget the band as a whole and just think of Marty and soon the record companies might want to change the 'backing' band members, and split up the band. I feel they should've stayed independant.....Screw corporate rock wh*res! Chitowngirl, As I stated in the last paragraph of my post, I have no problem with having fun. I do admit, however, that when I see posts like the above, I just wish people would have a beer and relax. I do have compassion for the fans that have been with Lovehammers from the beginning. Change is difficult for anyone. And yes, considering that the e-mail that was sent out did mention getting "heat" for the album name, the Lovehammers must be reacting to perceived negativity to even have mentioned it. Yes, I saw the post from Dino calling us goofballs, but it was in reference to a picture that rockbeast posted erroneously saying it was a vintage picture of the Lovehammers. I don't think it correlates to fans complaining about the perceived changes going on with the band. This is the kind of post from Dino that seems to show a bit of frustration in regards to the name: "This is the last time I will talk about the name thing on here. I want to stress that the band fought NOT to have it what it is, we dont' like it, BUT, there is only so much you can do, and you need to pick your battles. Everyone we have met at Epic is great, and our long term vision is the same - there is just some confusion and different ideologies for the short term. Either way, the music is the same, we are the same, and our band's name is LOVEHAMMERS. That's all." Considering they try so hard to keep their fans happy, I just think people should give the love back to them . In the end, no one really knows how they feel (INCLUDING ME)! I would just like to see people chill a little. Now, in hopes of going back to the fun on this thread-- if folks have a problem with what I have said, feel free to send a PM to me.

*peaks at thread* Uh, yikes. I like the picture just fine. In fact, I like it a lot. Sorry y'all, but I hope they stick with it. (In fact, I'm sure they will because there just isn't time to redo things at this stage). Whitelotus -- I can tell that was a heartfelt post. I really agree with the sentiment of it. Nice job.

whitelotus, I, too, was VERY disappointed with the post that you pointed out. That was not spreading the LH love! I guess I thought your comments were directed to the "fun with pictures", which seemed to be just goofing around. Besides, what good would we be if we couldn't point out which photos best show off our guys?

I feel they should've stayed independant.....Screw corporate rock wh*res! My two cents - First, I'm totally cool with you expressing your opinions. That's what we all do here. I am also one of those who have done my fair share of griping against music corporations and I'm sure I'll continue to do so. But here's some of my thoughts (and some aren't directly connected to what you posted, amp): 1) Band Name - to me all the guys have worked so hard getting the name "Lovehammers" out there. I think if there was anyone with a super-ego to begin with then the band wouldn't have been together for so long. 2) Album Name - Doesn't reflect on the music at all. 3) Album's Songs - Some of these songs truly deserve recognition, an audience, and radio airplay and I hope they get them from being re-released and re-done by a larger label. 4) Epic - From what I've read from Dino on the LH board the band is truly happy with the people they are working with right now. I think it is technically impossible for them to "sell-out" right now. It's not like they're coming out with their own fragrance-line. (And if they ever do I'm so bailing!)

WTF? Dino looks like Ricki Lake in this picture. Poor Billy looks like John McEnroe. Wonder why Epic chose this photo from a SEVEN HOUR photo shoot?! Weren't there better ones? HEY NOW!... BILLY LOOKS LIKE THE GOD HE IS!... okay...maybe a little like John McEnroe...but still... LIKE A GOD!
