Sadly, a bit disappointed by INXS + JD

It is my hope that Marty rises above what has been said about he and Jordis.

As a person who tries to live by the Buddha's teachings (I'm oh so far away from enlightenment, believe me!) it is somewhat unsettling to have people invoke karma when they probably don't have a full appreciation of this phenomenon.

So, for JD and INXS, I can only feel compassion. The one thing they are right about is that karma will be accumulated. But perhaps not in the way they may think.

love your positive insight, I on the other hand since seeing this interview have to admit Ive been fuming a bit. Don't know why it should bug me so ..but it does.

Anyway I know someone that speaks jerkish and roughly translated this is what I get out of it

I watched that video and was a hell of a lot more than a "little disappointed". INXS will get my money for the DC show (if I can get a ticket), but they can kiss my ass. Frankly, they need LH more than the LH need them. LH are on the way up...same can't be said for INXS. I thought they were really great guys after watching RS, but now I can't stand them. They owe Marty & Jordis an apology...a big one!

I just wish one of them would come out with who did what once and for all. Like instead of vaguely saying that Marty and Jordis "lent some vibes" (or whatever the wording), he should just answer the question (i.e. "Marty wrote 2 lines and Jordis thought up the melody on the chorus" or whatever). That way there's no more discussion and he doesn't have to worry about his "song karma".

I just watched it. My favorite part is when JD picked his nose and then conviently waved his hand in the air. Poor person sitting to his side - wonder if it was a big booger!!!

Noticed Tim wiping at his nose too - maybe they all need the cane to get them through this tour.

I didn't like the way Tim and Kirk came across at all. JD just sounded like he is still star struck and is still the big kiss up he was on the show.

I'm sure this isn't going to matter to Marty, et al. in the least - they know where they're headed.

Okay, so I finally got to watch the video, all four sections, and - for better or worse - here's my thoughts:

What was said was insulting and completely uncalled-for...if JDINXS want to make the point that PV is their song, that's fine, but there's no reason to make any sort of personal attacks implying that Jordis and Marty weren't on the up-and-up in their claims. I'm glad the JDINXS believe in Karma...I just hope they realize that's Karma's a circle, not a line.

Now I'm going to back-handedly defend JD, just a little. It wasn't just him making these comments...it was Tim and Kirk as well. JD strikes me as a simple fellow - if you've seen the video you see he's got all the maturity of a teenage boy with ADD - who's being used to breathe life and drama into an otherwise defunct band. He's not his own man and it appears that he hasn't the direction to become his own. It's a little sad really...

Okay...now to be a hardcore Hammerhead I must say:

JD, you can go kiss each of the Lovehammer boys's behinds...They're gonna wipe the floor with your sorry @$$ at the LH/INXS concerts! You may be big now, but Marty'll be big forever!

Watched all of the interview, and JDs body language is bizarre.


I think he lied to INXS about the extent of Jordis's and Marty's help on Pretty Vegas, probably early on in the process, and then he had to cover it up when it became clear it'd be released as a single.

Just watched the interview, and I also thought that all three of them came across badly ... very arrogant and dismissive. I heard the original interview with Marty when he mentioned contributing to Pretty Vegas, and it was very matter-of-fact, not like he was trying to take credit for it but more like he enjoyed the whole collaborative process. It was obvious that he had no interest in getting any money from the damn song. He has never said anything bad about JD and has never come across as jealous. On the other hand, JD acted like a petty, hyperactive child in the interview. He was fidgeting and looking around the whole time. And Tim seemed like a real punk, very full of himself. I can't figure out why they would want to start a tour with the LH by creating such negative vibes. Maybe they ought to think about their own karma!

OMG. That little sh*t. INXS got who they deserve. I hope LH has some sort of meet n greet after their set & during INXS so INXS can see who the fans are really there to see. I really hate that INXS is getting any of my money so I can see Marty. At least it will only be the one tour with INXS. JD...helloooo....your friend selling your crap on ebay is YOU getting a little of YOUR karma. To all 3 in the interview....GET OFF THE CANE.
