Is anyone interested in two tickets to the 2/13 show at Avery Fisher? These are really good seats in the orchestra, Row V, left aisle. I paid $60 each for them. I'm going the night before and don't think I can use these ...

hmmmm....if wendy sells her tickets, does that mean I am the only one from this website going to Avery Fisher/NYC concert on Feb 13?  ? If anyone else is going and would like to meet for dinner or drinks, or AFTER the concert drool together, please send me a reply!!!! |

I was starting to think I was the only one going on the 13th! At least I hope I'm going-my husband can't go with me now because our babysitter fell through so I'm still working on finding someone else to go with me.
I AM NOT MISSING THIS CONCERT !!!!!!

I'm going on the 12th (and also to the show at Mohegan Sun) so I found someone to take my pair of tickets for the 13th, because I'm the only serious LH fanatic I know ... but if anybody has an extra ticket for that night, as you get closer to the show, let me know!

hey wendy, I had to beg a friend to go with me to this concert by promising to pay for her ticket (my husband refused to go). She is not a fan and did not know who Marty Casey was until I asked her to go with me. I would have preferred to go with a true diehard MC fan like myself but, like you, I am the only LH fanatic I know!!!!

um....so far there are only 5 of us mc.org fans posting that we are going to this concert....anyone else going please show us your Lovehammer's love!!!!!!!!!! I know we will be way-out-numbered by INXS fans, but I would like to know who else will be singing along with Marty and me!!!!!!! I don't think this concert was sold-out, but the CBGB one n 2/14 finally did...

I'll be in the rear orchestra, on the left, row BB, but I"m going to try to sneak up front for LH if possible-and then dash out to the lobby when they're done. Would love to say hi to all of you!

Spiritgateway, where are you staying Monday night? Not sure of my plans but I may be able to help you with handouts on Monday and Tuesday. Is there a meeting time/place set up for these days? PM me your cellphone number so I can call you and find you if necessary... Ok, who besides me, spiritgateway and Rusalka are going Monday night? Is it just the 3 of us representing mc.org that night? Please respond so we can look for each other in the lobby as we search for Lovehammers wandering around. 4 days and I am going crazy with excitement...anyone know if cameras are allowed in this theater? |

Just called Avery Fisher Hall. Cameras can only be used in the lobby. Can't take any pictures inside during the performance. Wish I could help you guys with flyers & stuff but my printer is busted & I'm 1/2-2 hrs north of the city & won't even be coming down until just before the show. I'm just hoping to get there in time to take a look around for the bus before going inside. I will definitely be heading out to the lobby once LH are finished. Can't wait !!!!!!!!  |

Hi everyone! I know I am lame for never posting before, but I just wanted you all to know that Lovehammers rocked Avery Fisher last night!!! I have to say I was disappointed at the small number of LH fans in the audience. There were so many empty seats, although it did fill up more towards the end of the set. My sister and I had great seats on the floor in the 10th row all the way on the left, and we were able to move over more to the center. I was hoping Marty would run down my aisle, but he only went down the center. It was great, he went into the crowd and jumped up on the seats, if only I were a little closer, but I can’t complain. Anyway, the minute, they took the stage, my sister and I were on our feet. I could just feel the excitement. Once Bobby started with those drums, we didn’t stop dancing the whole night. All the guys were amazing and performed with so much energy… I couldn’t help but sing every song at the top of my lungs…. I can hardly talk from screaming so much. I can’t remember the order of the songs, but they did the Ultrasound intro, Straight as an Arrow, Hold on, Better Off Walk Away, Tunnel, Eyes Can’t See, Rain on the Brain, Riddle, Call of Distress, Trees and Ring of Fire. It sounds like a lot of songs but it went so so fast! Marty did thank INXS for giving him a career, he talked about how he never thought he’d play a place like Avery Fisher, he mentioned Dino’s hand getting mangled in the elevator and that he was playing with one finger!!! He was still great. That’s about all I can remember, I feel like it was all a dream. It was totally awesome. I have to admit that I was initially going because I thought it would put an end to my crazy obsession with LH, but I have to say the concert left me only wanting more!!! It went so quick!!! I was wishing more people were on their feet and I was trying to get the people around me to dance…but most of them thought I was crazy…and the great thing was I DIDN’T CARE. Usually I am very quiet and shy. Finally, Marty got everyone on their feet and singing along to Trees and Ring of Fire. After the LH set, there was a short break, I asked two security guards and two ushers where the guys would be signing autographs, and they were totally clueless. One of them pointed me to a woman in charge, and she said the band would not be coming out now and probably not at the end either. At that point I was totally bummed and not really in the mood for INXS. I told my sister that we should go up to some INXS fans in the last row and give them our great seats. So we did. We approached a nice couple in the back row and told them we really came to see Lh and couldn’t stay much longer and we’d be happy to trade our seats. Well, the guy looks at me and said, “you just came to see Marty?” and I said “yup”, he says, “ I went to college with Marty, he was going for engineering! Then he said the girl (it may have been a friend of the girl he was with, my mind is a blur) he was with is best friend’s with Dino’s girlfriend.” I just said they were lucky to know such a great group of guys. He was so nice…he told me to put my email address on the ticket and give it to him. So I did, and he said if he could get it signed he would email me back. And I just said, just tell the guys that we love them and the show was awesome and that we hoped they saw us singing and dancing the whole time….I wished I had gotten names, but I just wasn’t thinking. Alright I’m almost done. I did run into some Lovehammer fans by the merchandise area. We were still hoping the guys would come out. It was so nice to meet you Yakketyyak and Rusalka, I enjoyed talking to you both. And whoever that was who gave us the Lovehammer underwear to get signed at CBGB’s , we will do our best to try and get there tonight…although it may mean my husband divorcing me on Valentine’s day!!! I know my sister said she was going with or without me! Happy Valentine’s Day everyone, sorry if I rambled to much, I’m not a great writer! Donna  |

luckydj! Well, that was a great first post! I can't believe you thought you might get over your LH obsession by seeing them live.  They always rock and they always leave you wanting more. |
