Man, I knew I should have gone to this show too! These reviews are awesome, and the pictures are amazing! Beautiful, you should frame the one with Marty at the M&G table, it rocks!

Ted was pretty cool at the Charlotte show, poor guy, just trying to do what he was hired to do, right? My hammerhubby got a picture with him and told him we appreciated what he was doing, you know, trying to make it so everyone can a "moment". It's cool that hubby can schmooze like that, it frees me up to complain! ;D
So who does Ted work for anyhow? Is he a long-time LH guy, or is from Sony/Epic? Just curious...

Ted is employed by Lh's management. Ted has a thankless job - he's paid to be the bad guy.

You're right Amy, he is paid to be the bad guy.

I'm guessing that you've met him too. He really is a nice guy when he's not "on". My husband and I had a pleasant conversation with him during the intermission. He has lots of experience in this field. He's only been with LH's since January. I personally think he is doing a great job working things out with venue security to make the meet & greets happen. Just my opinion

Poor Ted. He's the guy who has to convince our guys to leave the fans and actually get some sleep, even when they don't want to. If Ted weren't around, I think they'd be up all night hanging out with us and this tour could have been a disaster.....

So - try to remember that Ted keeps our guys performing at their best AND helps them to meet as many fans as possible in a limited amount of time.

Just want to put my two cents in about Ted...

I also agree its his job to be the bad guy. At both of the meet and greets we went to, we were near the front of the line, and had no problems with him. Other than him gesturing to us when to come over to the table, he didn't yell at us or even urge us to move along. We got our autographs, said a few things and moved along. It does all seem a bit rushed, but the alternative is not meeting them at all. I would much rather have it this way. I have memories of those precious minutes that will last a lifetime...and hope to have that chance again in the future.

Like Velvet, my husband and I also got to talk to Ted for a bit (outside after the Boston show). He was very nice, and was even joking around a bit.

If someone is offended by what Ted said or did, please remember not to take it personally. He is trying to give everyone their fair chance of meeting the band, while working with the time constraints of the venue, security issues, etc. I for one appreciate everything he does.

I do feel everyone's pain on how mean Ted can be - but don't take it personally - he's gearing up to be the bad parent someday.. ha ha LOL.. anyway, when I was waiting at the Charlotte M&G, I told him that Shuckra got a great picture of him, and he said Thanks Baby... can't help but swoon just a little.. even just by Ted...

..man, I gotta get out more..

Anyway.. when he's on.. he's really on and a big pain in the wahoo.. but when he's off and chilling.. he's pretty cool. He has a job and if he doesn't do it well, he'll get fired.. so it's his livelihood we have to remember here.. but yeah, I got pissed at him too.. until I tried to put myself in his place..

I know there are others out there.... I saw a guy (professional) taking pics up by the stage. If I am not mistaken, it was HIS camera that Marty grabbed at one point and took a picture.
