Okay....part 2... I tried to take pictures but got the "tap" from Mr. security guard...although I'm bummed, Reddgt has agreed to share hers with me...the pictures I did get are blurry 'cause it was impossible for me to be still enough. I couldn't believe it when the set was over, it was a blink of the eye. You just don't want it to end. I stayed to watch INXS until I just couldn't hold it in anymore...so I left to go to the ladies room. Good timing because when I walked out, there was Dino walking right by me in the lobby...like an idiot I yelled DINO!!!! He turned to look at me and I said "I love you!!!!". He giggled and waved to me and headed into their "secret" room. I walked up to the door and schmoozed with the security guards and ultimately asked them to let me in there! No go..... I went up to the meet n greet section and waited for our boys...Ted is awesome, what a sweetie. I got a nice high five from him. Well the guys came out and we all went nuts. It was my turn and there he was....Marty, right in front of me. Very surreal.... I put my hand on his and thanked him for an incredible performance. He signed a picture that I brought with him in his white pants  ... then he held it up and said "nice pants"!!. Then I had my cd insert signed. Onto Dino and Bobby...Dino is so handsome, Bobby just melts your heart. I was shaking like a leaf and said so to Bobby...he took my hands and said WHY?  With his adorable puppy dog eyes. I said because I'm standing here. I told them I was married to a Greek and I invited them to my house for a greek supper ;D...they laughed. They are very very sweet. I've read it before and it's true...Billy is a great looking guy and just so sweet and soft spoken. He is much better looking in person. Trust me they ALL are!! I handed out a bunch of fliers throughout the night and I was so happy that people were so eager to take them... best concert I have ever attended, it was electrifying and I'll remember it forever. Set list....uhhh....same as the other shows, except no Mr. Brightside. (Was that just a way to give Bobby a break when he was so sick?) The pants comment....I think that was for the benefit of the little kids & their parents. I think he felt bad after he saw all the kids & cotton candy. We all know Marty loves to show his stuff & we love him for it. I love that he let everyone know he didn't need to curse out of respect for the kids. Definitely distinguishes the difference in level of character of him & JD. (Did that make any sense? Sleep deprived here, lol.) NANCY, how have I missed you on here? Guess I'm not reading the posts I should be. Your story brought me to tears as well. (I was the one in the peach shirt outside w/ Suzy.)I'm SO SO SO thrilled that these guys bring you so much joy. So am I understanding correctly...you had chemo before the show? What a trooper!!!!! Your kids are great. (I believe she told us outside that Marty told her she is hot, right?) And it was water, or some beverage, that Dino spit out into the air, not smoke. SUZY, did the pics I took for you in the line turn out at all? ? I'm still beaming. Only got about 4 hours of sleep. I was lying there & just kept telling myself over & over "I talked to Marty Casey today"....heeeeeheeee. I'm gonna have to bring Grandma to the house (I was able to get her into a dementia facility in November), play the Trees video for her & hope it sparks the same response, then tell her "oh by the way, he said to tell you hello & signed our picture for you". It may or may not work, but I will always have that memory. I hope my earlier post did not come across like I was upset or bothered that the guys didn't look up at me or say anything. I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND. I probably wouldn't last one night of signing my name over & over. I am completely grateful to have just had the opportunity to be across the table from them. I was so disappointed in the lack of merchandise. Marty always says good things about JD & INXS during his set. Last night he said something like he only hopes to work up to the caliber that INXS is. HELLLLO, LH way surpasses the caliber of INXS in my opinion. Would it kill JD to say a little something like "thanks to the LH for opening for us" ? I thought I would get to the show & they would have more items than we can buy on the website. There were no stickers, keychains, programs. Guess I'll have to fashion my own. Now if I could just figure out a way to make a living by following the boys around. Ok, I'll shut up already. (I thought the giddiness would be over by now.) |

Marty and the boys were awesome last night! Well, well worth the wait! My daughter and I had 3rd row seats but moved right up front along the rail. I was right next to the guy with the cell phone. That was great! I took some pictures before security warned me but I don't think mine turned out either. They are all blurry I am going to mess with them later. The crowd was great on thier feet , screaming, I was actually kind of surprised by the number of LH fans that were there. I didn't get to meet anyone else. I asked a couple of people in the bathroom with LH shirts if they were from Martycasey.org but they were not. I bet they will be joining today! The night was absolutely everything that I wanted it to be. The set was great but too short! Then went to the M&G and they really did try to rush us through there but I did get a hug from Marty! What else could a girl ask for? It was a night that I'll never forget. Now my daughter understands what the obsession is all about and she is looking forward to more LH shows! My poor husband, now there will be two of us!

I just picked my daughter up from preschool and she says "Mom, I told Miss Debbie (her teacher) all about Marty!!"LOL I thought that was too cute! My 6 yr. old son was disappointed that I didn't take him to the concert..honestly, I don't think he could have seen much even though we were on the floor and not very far back. I'm still on a natural high from last night..can't WAIT to see them again!!
