Nancy and Natasha
I'm so happy you had this wonderful experience of the LH together. This is the second day in a row I've needed tissue as I've read the boards. Nancy I'm so happy for you that you got your special time with Dino. Natasha you are amazing getting that kiss! (Can I tell you how much I smiled reading about it!) All I can say after reading your posts is I had a true sense of the world being a good place--when people get to see their dreams come true. I hope you are still living in the glow of the experience and it helps you both as you face the difficulties of what your family is going through right now. Wishing you and Daniel the best.

Natasha you are a lucky girl! Loved reading your review. I took my daughter also she is 15. She was not a fan before but is now. She wanted to hang out over by the buses afterwards but we didn't. Guess we should have. Can't wait to see your pictures. All of mine turned out terrible.

Hi fellow Hammerheads! I have to admit - this is the first concert I've been to in ... well, something like 20 years! We went for the Lovehammers ... 'course I love the original INXS too ... I thought the LH/s really put on a great show - Marty knew where he was ... I think J.D. had to ask Garry what city he was in, which I don't take offensive too - 'cause it's got to be so overwhelming on a tour ... but it seemed like Marty cared more about his audience! He made some really cute comments about it being a "Family Arena" ... and another cute comment about "I see the cotten candy" ... he was rockin' hard - but still so flipping sweet! The accoustics at the St. Charles Family Arena aren't the best - I don't think it showed the LH/s at their best (but Marty is so much the show it almost didn't matter) ... INXS sounded ... not so good. It actually made me sad for "our band" ... and J.D.s antics turing "Taste It"... and I'm no prude - but it was just goofy, and a waste of time! Heck during all that - they could have done another song! I didn't stay for the M & G ... have to get up really early for work, and husband wasn't "up for it" ~ plus I thought it might be a mad-house! Seemed like lot's of LH fans to me Which is a good thing! Sounds like a lot of other fans had a wonderful interaction with "our guys"!!! I did buy the LH/s CD ... which I'd meant to get off their website, but time got away from me ... I love this band! This is a really great CD ... I can't wait to see them in another venue I should add Garry (Garry Gary Beers) is so darn cute! He seemed to just enjoy himself so much ... What a doll! All in all ~ Lovehammers are a really FUN band! I love their original music, there will be big ~ HUGE ~ things ~ in the future for these guys ... all of them !

I am so glad that I am not the only one who thought that about the JD antics. I thought maybe I was being prudish. I'll admit it was kind of hot for about 15 seconds but my god it went on for about 3 minutes and became just really awkward and uncomfortable to me.

It was so .. goofy ... wasn't it. I can't imagine the INXS guys "went for it" ... I never saw them with Michael, but I can't imagine he did that ... maybe he he ... they were younger ... but they aren't 20 anymore ... and those antics are just goofy to a more "mature" group! Really ! I'm not prudush ... but it is was just so .... goofy ... !
I feel bad for J.D. - he seems to be trying so hard!

Couldn't agree more about the JD/Taste It routine. From my post on the LH board:

Hello hammerheads!! I am searching for anyone who was able to take any pictures of the St. Charles concert. My camera was taken away at the door. I am willing to pay for any copies of pictures from the St. Charles concert. I was so disappointed. I had even called before the concert to make sure it would be okay and was told I could. Please if you have any that you would share with me, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks so much. The concert was awesome. So much better than INXS. We left after the fouth song from INXS. I had already seen what I came for. Well worth the wait. Thanks again. Kris Khrishuskey...see my post where you posted at the end of tour thread...I'll be happy to help you out as my friends are helping me out with pics too. I just couldn't sit still enough. Do you have long dark hair? I think I was standing in the lobby and saw that happen (if that was you)....If it WAS you, I heard you say "But I called the arena to see if it was okay".......did you have a disposable? Was a woman searching your purse with a flashlight? Wish you came into the same entrance as me... they didn't even glance in. Small world if it was you.... They should NOT have taken your camera....why then would you be permitted to take pics at the meet n greet if you're not permitted to bring a camera into the building? Doesn't make sense...but we'll make it all better for ya! I got a tap on the shoulder and the security guard politely asked me to stop taking pics and I quickly politely put my camera in my purse.
