There was a review in the St. Louis Post Dispatch this morning. There is only a small mention of the LH and it is not that complimentary. However, in reading it, I realize that as long as INXS and Lovehammers are touring together the comparisons will always be there. Marty was JD's "main competition" on the RSINXS show. He was "runner up," but for INXS, and comparing INXS and Lovehammers is like comparing apples and oranges. So, lots of mixed feelings here. I was thrilled to see so many people in the arena and ready to rock last night when LH took the stage, and thrilled to see so many people in line for the M&G after the show, so the tour with INXS has obviously been great for LH. Then there's this review, and the comparison--GRRRRRRRR!! So, my opinion, for what it's worth: time for the tour with INXS to end for Lovehammers, even though it's a disappointment for those who had still hoped to see them on the next leg of the INXS tour. Ok, Hello everyone again. My daughter has her review that she wants to squee about, and she is telling me word for word about what she wants to share!
This is from Natasha:

I'm really glad that we went! I didn't at first want to go, cause Mom was really sick, and I thought it would make her more weak! Was I ever wrong on that one. I'm glad we went!
We first saw the famous Green Bus, and couldn't do anything but take a few pictures from sitting in the Jeep. Me and mom was too scared or something to go up there, even though my crazy brother Daniel wanted to, but we said no to him going, he probably would of got into trouble or something. He always gets caught!
When the concert started, that's when my smile started. My jaws are still hurting from smiling so much!. I couldn't believe how great Marty was, and he was like non stop. Everything I had imagined, happened, oh how that man can move! I think we had the worse seats in the place, but we still danced. I couldn't get Mom to sit down, I just knew she was going to fall or something, but we danced throughout the whole thing. Daniel sat in front of us and tried to get as many pictures as he could without getting caught. He always gets caught, what was we thinking! The security person saw him and ended up standing right next to us for the rest of the show. I was going on and on about Marty, and Mom was telling me to hush she couldn't see Dino! It was the best concert that I have ever seen, oh well, considering it's the first concert that I have ever seen, is all good. I kept on saying that was bad ass, and didn't even get into trouble for saying that! As happy as my Mom was, I probably could of got away with saying anything!
I didn't really want to hear JD sing, but my brother wanted to at one time. I took him in there to hear it, and he got scared! I thought the music was awesome and I could get into that, just not the singer in all. I'm picky like that. I thought is was gross at what JD was doing to that microphone of his, and I'm 17 and have seen some really gross stuff before, and that tops it off!
We went looking for the Lovehammers, and didn't find them. Mom met some really cool people, and I liked talking them too. One person even wanted to borrow my brother for a week, and I thought I was having a perfect night then! We get up to the Meet and Greet and it went too fast. I took some pictures of the Lovehammers, and Mom with Dino, and hopefully they come out good. Marty said he like my hair! I thought I would just die right there on the spot! Then he signed the book that I gave him, and then he gave me a hug! I was lost at that moment, didn't want to leave, but guys were telling us to move on move on, I'm thinking "shut Up" I just got a hug from Marty. Then I read what he signs in my book. It says, Natasha is Hot. Marty Casey. Well, I could of said YES to a marriage proposal at the time for sure! THE Marty Casey thinks I'm HOT, I can't think of anything else to do, I'm in dreamland for the rest of my life now. Mom wants to go to the bus, where she says she is going to meet Dino, but she is getting really tired, and more well, sick. She went for her chemo that day, and lets just say, I had to find a bathroom for her like a million times, but you never seen someone so happy after being so sick before!
Daniel takes Mom and I follow in this like dreamy walk. I just heard the best music in my life! And the singer says I'm HOT. My friends are just going to die!
We get down to where the busses are, and there is allot of JD fans around. I couldn't believe how rude they were, some of them was even walking it seemed right through Mom, and she was like oh sorry, and I'm thinking about pushing her right on through and knocking em all down! She says she doesn't even want to be close to them, so we stand back. One of the INXS members comes out of the fenced in gate to give mom a hug. She has him sign her book. And get this!. She thanks him real big for introducing Marty and the Lovehammers to the world! He just smiles real big and thanks her! I start cracking up laughing, and then he hugs me! He was nice and all, but nothing like the hug I got from Marty Casey! I swear, I love Marty oh and Bobby!
All of a sudden and I didn't see them walk up, but here is Dino and his brother Bobby standing in the middle of all these girls. I leave Mom and Daniel and make a bee line to Bobby. I had given him my necklace in the Meet and Greet line. He remembered my Name! He's says Hey Natasha, or is it just Tasha. I tell him he could call me anything he wants! Oh my God, he is almost as perfect looking as Marty is! I make Bobby swear that he'll wear my necklace, it's a skull, on a black rope necklace, at every concert and he says he swears he'll wear it. I get a picture of him, and oh my, if Marty doesn't ask me to marry him, I sure would say yes to Bobby. Oh and before Bobby and Dino comes out, Marty came out. I thought I would just die to see him up close like that! He stayed behind the fence, but I didn't care, he is so perfect! And so nice too. Guys like that in my school are never nice, and Marty is like totally opposite, he is so down to earth, Oh Yes Marty, I will marry you. But can you wait until I'm out of High School! lol I tell Mom I want a kiss from Marty and for her to take the picture. So, I ask Marty, and oh My God, he goes and puckers up for me!. I could of died at that moment a very happy happy teenager! I put my cheek up there and Mom is down there having fun, saying, hold that position a bit more Marty, and Marty just smiles at her, and puckers again. I'm dieing here and Mom is making jokes! Oh my. Then I decided the cheek was getting boring, so I turned to get a kiss on the mouth, and that's when Mom took the picture. Oh my God. My first kiss to my future husband....Just kidding! Then he like walks down a while and I'm just looking and I think I say Oh My What a Sexy Body, and I guess I said it loud enough for him to hear, even though I didn't mean for it to happen like that. And he gives me this face and his eye brows go up, and smiles real big for me. I'm thinking no thoughts at that moment, was totally brain dead!
Then I see Dino talking to Mom, and I'm like oh Man, I got to get pictures of that, she's kill me if I don't. And Daniel actually had me covered, and had already been shooting away for Mom. Mom is like totally blown away, and has tears in her eyes, and then gets this huge hug from Dino. I say I want one too. I mean why not. A kiss from Marty whom thinkis I'm HOT, and Bobby is so, oh well, can't describe him, I'll get a hug from Dino too. I put my face into his chest and tell him I could stay like this forever. He said he could too. Mom takes the picture, and then I try to help someone else take a picture with Dino, and I don't think it worked but I tried! Then Dino starts to joke around with Mom, and I can't remember what he said to me, but I pinched him for it, was like messing with my brother, so cool! Then they take off, and we come home. Mom is so happy, that we didn't have to hit no more bathrooms all the way home!. So, there's my story!. See ya all later....Natasha....Nancy's Hot Daughter!

Well we have returned home!!


I must say ST. Charles was an awesome show. Like everyone said they had awesome energy and all.. Billy is amazing enough said there!


we were first in line for the meet & greet which was cool! While waiting some awesome hammerheads sat with us! I love getting to know you guys! fun night!!! We sat and chatted got many compliments one of them being i looked like Marty and an other i looked like Avril! anyways I hope to get into contact with you guys!!

We gave the guys our CB GB collage their reaction was awesome!! Ted asked us if they could keep it (DUH) anyways it was awesome!!


We waited around for a while out by the buses. Dino came out with cup cakes ha ha and Bobby came out to ! I got an awesome Picture with him ! my mom now understands my obsession with him ha ha! he promised me a drum stick and came through with it at the KC show!

Overall it was an awesome night !!!

You are HOT girl. (I was the one in the peach shirt.) It's so awesome that you & your bro & mom got to experience this night together. I wish I had the "balls" you do! It was great meeting you guys. I wish I had been aware of the significance for your mom beforehand, but oh well.

FYI, concerts don't get better than that. I've seen a bunch from Lynyrd Skynyrd, Cher, Kiss, Aerosmith, on & on (you probably don't even know who these are, lol)....none have compared to the performance Marty & the guys give.

I have a feeling, though, that you have been spoiled by your first concert experience. You should make sure that every concert you go to from now on is a Lovehammers concert. Otherwise, you'll just be let down. No guitar-genius Billy, no hard-rockin' Dino, no drum-pounding Bobby, no mad-conductoring Marty, no wonderful meet and greet after the show, no KISSING THE LEAD SINGER ON THE LIPS AND DON'T THINK I MISSED THAT PART OF THE STORY.
