I don't post here much, but wanted you all to know that I have been dying for new details about shows and had given up that there was no more (at least for awhile) until I stumbled onto this thread today. Thanks for all the pics and details -- LOVE THEM. And thanks for letting me live vicariously thru your amazing adventures.

Slightly funny post concert story.

I guess I really impressed my business partner's 11 year old son--he kept saying--wow CJ was hanging out with a Rock Star, Mom! And My business partner would say. I know. And he'd say--NO mom CJ had her picture taken with a rock star! That means she's cool.

Thanks Marty for making me cool in his eyes!

True that Kimberly, it was COMPLETE anyway with as much as we did, said, laughed, heard and witnessed but was so glad Billy stayed out so long, despite feeling icky. And posed for pics no less!

I forgot a moment...just goes to show you what a nice AWARE guy Marty is. I was standing at the bar waiting for a drink (whats new ok?) and there was a guy to my left there in between me and Marty who was on his left. So with the wait (long because of how crowded it was) this guy and I start talking, just the normal , hi, how are you's, and where ya from: He from Phoenix, me from San Diego, yadda yadda. And after Marty apparently wrapped his conversation with the person to his left, without skipping a beat like he'd been listening to my conversation the whole time, turns to the right, to me and says "Oh do you know my friend Kevin?"

I say "No, but now I know his name..thanks, we just met." (I laugh) and Marty says, " I have known this guy since I was 9 years old." Smart ass me says "Another little leaguer?" -meaning Kevin-(Laughs on my part-I crack myself up sometimes-such a dumb ass) and more small talk between those 2 about growing up together yadda yadda. So Kevin and I had just got done saying where we're from...literally, he ended the conversation with "Phoenix" as Marty turned and jumped in.....so I continued.."So Kevin, why did you move from Chicago to Phoenix?" (I had thought Marty had left the conversation at that point), but he turns back around and interjects "Why not?"...then was on his merry way again talking to someone else. Marty pays more attention to everyones conversations than you realize.

Just something little, thats all.

And you are so right. Of all the things that draw us to Marty, for me on of the biggest things early on was how intelligent, how sharp he is. He doesn't miss a thing.
