Pen, I don't think I can make it. My flight comes in at 8:15 or so that night, so I'll be way past time for the dinner. After dinner festivities maybe, but no dinner. Maybe next time.

shoot... hey Pen- I will be bringing Tooks (tookskye) is she on there yet? she will be back friday she had to have some procedure at the hospital Tuesday.  But she and I are splitting my room at the ho jos and she will wanna go to this. Thanks RB Heee heee...blame RB, Tooks! |

Yes, I will bring my nametag from Memphis it says "SCOTT- ROCKBEAST/HAMMERBEAST WASHINGTON" on it.

At Memphis Taxe & HH-ScaryJohnny had name tag made for us that had our screen names, real names and state we were from on them. It really helped alot with those initial meetings. There were alot of us there mixed in with alot of other people. I met about 20 people there, a few I recognized from posted pics and avatars. The name tags were really very helpful. But ya kinda just have to be prepared to do alot of self introductions especially since there will be more than 100 of us at the Friday nite dinner alone. Just imagine HammmerJam itself....WOW. Like a class renuion from a large school only you never met anyone before. lol

I think Kelly was going to work on name tags. Or we could make our own, figure out what we want on them.
Wear red and black. Then we'll all be easy to pick out of a crowd.

I am late to respond...but.... I was in Las Vegas from the 19th to the 26th....yes, I was in Las Vegas two hotels down from the Mandalay Bay...where Marty and gang were attending the Vh1 Rock Honors event on 5-25....did I know this then??!! Of course not...I was in Las Vegas for a work convention...on Thursday night I was attending a banquet/awards ceremony til the wee hours of the morning. Flew home on the 26th....ah well...probably best I DIDN'T know! I am still catching up from the trip...saw the dinner thread finally...and yes please add me (myohmy) and mondegreen to the dinner list...she will be on later tonight to confirm her attendance too! We are rooming together at the HammerJo's....and would love to join everyone for dinner on Friday night.... Thanks Penny for organizing this!! Looking forward to meeting everyone! edited to fix mondegreen's name! |
