Yay, got my cds today. It seems everybody in the house is picking their favorite but I am having a very hard time as I love all of it. My 3 year granddaughter loves Trees (she has from day one), my 19 month old grandson loves Hold On and Straight as an Arrow (he looks like a little headbanger when these songs come on - it is so cute and funny), my daughter loves Casualty, and my husband says that Clouds will be a number one hit also. The whole family is lovin it.

Okay now I'm at the mail carrier ( not really) no CD today. I was sure it would come today. Tomorrow I am planning a trip to a real record store to buy another copy to help with first week sales--but I had hoped my copy would be here before I could buy it in stores.

Ahhh patience is a virtue--obviously one I've not yet perfected.

Also got my CD today. I think the mailman feared me tackling him as I almost did on Saturday when I thought he held the CD package in his hand (or perhaps feared me hugging and kissing him today for bringing the new CD) and left my mail later than usual LOL. But because of that, I was not able to listen to it until I returned home from work just a while ago. I have listened to the new CD and can't quite make a judgement cuz I'm still "adjusting" to the "updated" versions...BTW has anyone mentioned that the printed lyrics for "Straight As An Arrow" read "Straight, let go...." but Marty actually sings "STONED, let go..." or at least that is how I hear it....

I am a little bummed with Call of Distress - it is one of my favorite songs because of the difference in energy between the verses and chorus - you know - so boppy in the verse but killer screaming during the chorus. They seemed to have "smoothed" out that difference and it isn't as raw as it was. It is still a great song, though.

I haven't got the CD yet, I'm getting it today. But that's kind of disappointing, since Call OF Distress is my fav too. I have to hear it first though. I hope it wasn't smooth out too much, cuz that's exactly what I love about the song.

I haven't been able to find a copy of the cd yet today!! Anyone picked one up? Where did you get it? BTW, Sam Goodies only got THREE copies....what's up with that? Target is out of them.... wonder how many they got.

Platinum—No Problem! Although I’ve been a huge follower of Marty’s since last summer, I only bought my first Lovehammer CD today—On sale at Target for $9.98 this week, by the way. The best words that I can find to describe my reaction to the CD is delight, thrilled, ecstatic, etc.
I must admit, I listened to them live on the Q101 Twisted 12 web page and was a little concerned about how the CD was going to sound…. Wow! What a difference! I was thinking, “Way to go guys. You’re gonna go Platinum!” The music really rocks, but at the same time, it sounds clean and well produced which should get them a lot of air play. Marty’s lyrics are so clever and original.
I emailed Q101 yesterday. I asked them if it was possible to play “Trees” more often because I seemed to be missing it every time that I tuned in. An hour later, I got in my car and, sure enough, guess what was playing.
I’M SO PROUD OF THESE GUYS!!!

I went to Best Buy to get my CD. I wanted to see it in the store for myself. I got such a rush when I saw it sitting there on the shelf. I almost bought two of them thinking what if something happens to it....lol. My new favorite song is "Straight As An Arrow". I'm pretty sure my husband will like it too because there is a lot of guitar work and he plays the guitar and loves songs with lots of guitar work in them. It's very energenic and makes me dance around my living room. I love "The Riddle" also. Both of them give me goosbumps. I want to cry with happy tears when I hear them. I also love all the other songs but these do stand out. Trees goes without saying obviously.

I had received a Borders gift card for Christmas so I went there today and used most of to purchase THE ONLY copy of the CD that particular location had. What is the deal with that?! But it's MINE ALL MINE now, children! I have a child dancing around the living room right now to the music. Too cute!

I GOT IT!!!! TARGET had some.. I bought x-tra's and passed them out to people in the parking lot!
