Hi Trees,

I emailed stations/press around the globe during my long weekend last week including the Canadian ones listed here and on the radio webcast thread on page one. I have only gotten two responses. One from where I am from (Indy) and one from Winnipeg. I already posted this response on the Radio and Webcasts thread. If there is time, I also email the DJs...and as I posted on the other thread...especially the female DJs.

I had emailed radio stations the link to Trees, the fan sites links and bio links. Looks like there is interest out there if Sony can produce the hard copy for the stations.

Great news Stil, back east there is more support than the west coast in Canada. We're just layed back though. We'll show support. Now if we could only get some tunes on the radio INXS will be played more I believe due to jd being Canadian and all. Feels like an up hill battle here.

They'll find out after Marty & Lovehammers 'Blow them Away" then just wait for the Rockers here Kick some A**

I emailed 92.5 Jack FM Toronto on January 5th, before I realized Trees had not been officially released for radio play.
Here is their reply:

Thanks for the note, Jack is primarily a gold based station, while we do
play a few current tracks, these are the exception to the rule. At this
point in time Trees isn't a big enough hit for us to consider, it hasn't
charted and is only being played on 2 stations in North America (WKQX
Chicago and WRZK Indianapolis) So, I will keep an eye on it, if it
should suddenly explode we will certainly give it some consideration.

I answered back saying Trees would be released on January 17th, and that I'd be requesting the song as soon as it hits gold.
Of course, I'll be requesting it much earlier than that as I'm sure it will qualify as one of their exceptions.

I'm ready to spend a good portion of the day emailing other stations.

I love seeing peoples first reaction to it. You can't help but LOVE the song immediatley!! I can't wait to hear it on the radio for the first time!

I went to a couple of music stores this weekend and asked them if they will be getting the CD on the 24th. One had a long list of CDs coming out on the the 24th and it didn't include the Lovehammers so I'm hoping getting some questions about it might bring up it's profile. She had no way to check if it was coming in or not. The other store could look it up on their computer. They're getting 10 copies.

Mostly INXS but they did nemtion MARTY & LOVEHAMMERS as the Opening Band.

CANADIANS! I found a radio station where you can vote for "Trees"!.

It is 94.3 Energie in Quebec. No, I don't know French but I know vote and I know Lovehammers. So go here:

At the bottom of the page select from the pull-down menu TREES/MARTY CASEY/LOVEHAMMERS and click on button underneath that.

BTW I did translate the button and it says "Send your vote now!"
