Hope this is ok to ask, but besides TBone, were any of the other guys from LH there?

Hope this is ok to ask, but besides TBone, were any of the other guys from LH there? Not that I could see. Matt Hoffer was there though. I had a good time at the show! I went in with somewhat high expectations from others' reviews and I was not disappointed! I didn't take any pictures, just paid attention to what was going on onstage. I am very impressed with the musicianship and hope to get more familiar with some of the Guns songs (heard for the first time last night) at the next couple shows I go to.

I, too, was very impressed with the musicianship. You would never know that the band hasn't been playing together for that long. I really liked Fire It Up! I am definitely looking forward to more from the new album. I also thought the cover of You Can't Always Get What You Want was fabulous! Loved Jeremy on STFU! Marty looked and sounded great! It was nice to see him a bit more uncensored. From the moment the show began, I couldn't help but think, A LOT LESS CANDY.

You welcome everybody! Woo hoo!!! Thanks for posting so quickly Iwo and for the pics too!! Spectacular that Marty had loads of supporters, family and friends come out!! He is a WONDERFUL CRAZY Man!! Too funny Iwo, glad you didn't have to climb up and crawl across the stage to get the setlist. LOL Isa! I guess I was luckier than you, no crawling, no climbing across the stage ...the set list was just floating lonely by the edge of the stage in front of me I wish to write a coherent review but being a classical pianist is not that easy. It's like comparing apple to oranges I can become overly analytical but than I would bore everybody here...but let's just try...an example; "Ballade of Jane" was cleverly interrupted with the rests in few places by hanging on dominant seventh which is the lead note to a tonic and without that tonic and especially its root (in major in this case) listener is hearing an unfinished phrase which for western based harmonies we are used to, creates an unresolved tune (sometimes called a question) our minds are learned to finish on a right note or notes (that would be called an answer) to complete the whole musical sentence .The tension that was created by doing that raved up the crowd! In another song Tracii put Marty up to a challenge by playing series of short phrases in the Middle Eastern scale and let him to repeat them vocally in exactly the same order of notes. I think Marty not being raised in that part of the world did a great job! Ok, time for a few more pics!

IWO, Middle Eastern you say? Marty sure knows how to meet a challenge. You crack me up. Your insight does make me see that each performance is filled with wonderful nuances, artistry and is skillfully performed. Thanks for sharing. Den
