That was a really awesome and detailed review Nancy. I love it when all you guys write the reviews so well that you could actually feel yourself sitting there right next to you, visualizing everything. As someone who was unable to see a concert this time around i really appreciate the time and effort you guys all take to make those of us unable to go really feel like a part of it. Thanks so much!!

wef - I apologize, but I'm not certain that I could adequately define what Marty meant when he made the statement. Nor could I even define my interpretation of it if you've never seen a LH show and didn't see the episode where Marty made the statement.

Let's just say that Marty's performance with LA Guns was a bit darker or harder rock than his performances with LHs.

Just a quick note:
I finally had a chance to meet Marty's dad. He was hanging around
after the show with the biggest grim on his face!
He was so happy to see all the people supporting his son!
We had a nice chat about the pope John Paul II, we both shared nice memories from meeting him ( he was an archbishop in Cracow when I lived there). Mr. Casey then started to demonstrate on my head how pope used to bless by putting his hand on people's head and how chilling experience it was! I don't have to explain how that made me like him even more by bringing back those memories. What a nice, genuine fellow Marty's dad is.
Later I also had a chance to meet other family members.
Marty is truly blessed to have them around!

HY and IWO -- kudos on the amazing pics!!
HY, these are all excellent shots of all the band members. Really great! IWO, cool black & whites. #55 - I love that second one with Tracii in his 'crazy face' mode!! And, well, what can I say about the final pic. Gorgeous Marty, gorgeous smile...

Loved your review Nancy!! Just like being there...

Oh, and IWO - I'm not sure I can grasp your excellent details about the stuff Marty and Tracii were doing with notes and tones and stuff because I'm basically musically challenged - but it sure sounds like they are pulling out all the stops!! Nice story about meeting Marty's dad... he does sound like such a sweetie!

8-8-08 is not far away - and now I can't wait!!
