Dear Nancy I wasn't picking on you at all. I was really referring to the
extrememly hurtful things that were said about marty fans over at the
LH.com and how some are foaming at the mouth rabid with anger at Marty . I don't get it. I think if some of the criticism was about his writing style or whether a song of his should have been slower or faster and how maybe a chorus on a certain song sucked, that would be cool. But it feels like for me at times the critiques are based on Marty's leaving and making him pay...
I was and am speaking generally and not at any one person, just the mindset. If I had a beef with any one person I would PM it and not fight in a group .I don't dig the Roman Coliseum type of fighting.
I am rambling now aren't I.
Anyway, I love you gals and coming here

I know this is only supposed to be about the blog , but I have to say this . I too was hurt by the split . I had yet to see my first show , and meet the guys . I intend to support the band , should they continue . It won't be the same for me without Marty , as I knew of him first and have my own reason as to why he is so special to me . You can read it for yourselves in the Rockstar anniversary Happy Marty Day thread .
It is true though , that no matter how much we have grown to love these four guys , this is thier business . It is band business . I wish this could have happened differently , but it didn't . I have a friend in the biz , and I have learned much from her . Such is the life of this business . It is not all puppy dogs and roses . What we all need to do is realize this and just be supportiive of the guys we grew to love .
I am a fan , plain and simple . It is not my place to expect answers to things that are not my business . No one forced me to spend money on them . I did that of my own free will . They owe me nothing for that , except to give me the great music that they chose to make . I love them for that . But Marty has a bigger piece of my heart . If not for him , his soul that reached out to me , I don't know where I would be .
I have said all I am going to say about this .
Cindy , I truly do not want to stay away . I can't always get on like I used to though , but I'll give it my best shot .

All i kow is i feel so distant from a band i once felt so close to....my STing stuff is gathering dust....and i find myself talking to new bands to promote and support. I find that LH is in the back of my mind, brhind my plans, my horses, and everything else. I donr know if im over this new direction marty is going...or if im forgetting them all togather. Maybe because I havent heard anything from bob, dino, and billy for a while.
I havent even listened to LH for probably a solid month! I cant believe it myself?? As I lay Dying, The Used, Chevelle, Red Sun Rising, Manson, ect.... have all been on steady rotation....anyone else feelin' this way??

I'm with you Amy, was just working on some levity here. I pulled down some LA Guns music and although I am not a huge fan, I think he is an amazing guitarist. I am really excited to see how this new version of LA GUns is going to sound.

Re: Lh music -- Ummm...no. I'm still listening to my Lh CDs in my car. And, I will buy any CDs/DVDs put out by Lh in the future -- no matter if Marty is back with them or not.
