ok let's get to it -- it cracks me up when iTunes says "you have already purchased this song." if only they knew how many times....

Someone needs to tell us exactly how..step by step. I've downloaded iTunes, but being brand new to it, I can't figure out how to get to the correct version of Trees. The single version is the only one that pops up when you search for Trees, and you guys want us to buy the new album version, so how do we get to that one?  I thought I was finally in the right place and then found the program was only playing my CD which was in the drive  I'm definitely a newbie in the iTunes world and I hate programs that "think" for you and make assumptions about what you want.....sheesh! Edited: Change hate to become very confused byI finally figured it out and did the deed.  |

I'm feeling your pain. I just got done purchasing Trees from iTunes, and for me it was a long and painful process. This is what I did (as I recall)... 1. Looked up Marty Casey and Lovehammers under Albums. 2. The picture of the album came up. 3. I clicked on the title of the album and this lead me to the album selections that you can purchase individually. This worked for me...maybe there is an easier way, but I don't know it.  |

Thanks lionness... I finally got there, but what a mess of sidetracks and dead ends in that place. And I'm left with an uneasy feeling that my computer is giving out my credit card information and music tastes to Apple, AOL, the federal govt and the Chinese Chamber of Commerce... |

I also saw that you can gift it so I bought one and e-mailed it to my 16 year niece who doesn't leave her room without her ipod.
Hopefully she'll spread the word!

I have a dell dj instead of an ipod, but I will download it a couple times and send it to my siblings, who both have ipods. I have also been emailing all of my friends with ipods asking them to download it. |

Got mine  I gave it a 5 star rating, don't know who will see that as this was my first Itunes download. I don't have an Ipod I have a Dell pocket dj. No matter anyway as I bought the CD the day it hit stores and have uploaded it to my mp3 player. How can we check where Trees is on the Itunes top 100 list? Keep spreading the Love |

I downloaded too. If I ever get an ipod I know what song will be on it. It's the only song I have ever downloaded from there.

Done. I noticed that they have a popularity bar graph next to each song and the Trees one is much farther over than the rest of the album's tracks so our downloads must be working. I want to see it on the front page of itunes! In the top downloads.
