Thank you Blue.
LOL... My brother was deaf for the better part of the night. The ringing only lasts about a day or two. The worse part is hearing the noise when no one else does....

That's wonderful, Christine. Interesting...I was just reflecting today on how fast my daughters are growing, and how quickly those "baby" times passed. Despite the nausea, discomfort, and so on; that time in your life is so precious and amazing!

Congrats Christine !!! A new baby is always a welcomed blessing... and you get to spoil it and not have to change the dirty diapers...LOL Sorry, that is something my brother would say... My brother thinks that was one of the bonus items to being an Uncle. He spoiled my son rotten, but he never had to change a diaper.

It probably is... he get sick just thinking about a dirty diaper...LOL I told him that he will see that everything changes after he has a child.
Diaper changes are never 'fun', but it becomes so second nature that it doesn't matter when you have to change one. The baby needs to be cleaned and as a parent, you just do it... then move on to all the really fun stuff.
Nothing sweeter than a baby giggling or smiling with joy...

Well I have been lurking here - reading your new pieces. Very nice Blue and Star. I wrote a piece about recent events, but it is so dark I think it is best to keep it there for a while..................
Christine - That is so great!!!! New babies are so amazing.

It's alright Boston... I can understand. When you are ready to post a work you know that this thread is here for that, just like we are all here for you. Don't let what happened stop you from having a voice. You are so much better than that, stronger than that and so much more special. {{{Hugs}}}

Hold
Hold me, my darling; Each second in time Is not meant to be wasted; It is yours, it is mine
To immerse ourselves fully In the sea of our love; In our unspoken language That only we have heard of.
My head on your chest, I keep time with the beat Of your heart -- remaining strong, Not accepting defeat.
We hold one another; There’s no darkness, no fear; Rather hope that casts light On a future unclear.
Every experience we share Is a sheer, guiltless pleasure; Every dream I have of you Is a memory I treasure.
I bask in your brilliance. I admire your resilience. Simply put…you are my favorite.
I’ll hold you, my darling; My most precious friend. I was yours from the beginning; I am yours till the end.

Here is a new piece that I just wrote...
And We Love...
Whisper in the dark, What my heart doesn't have the strength to say.
How I love you, And long for only us to live only within the brighter days.
You are, All I know.
With you alone, My spirit has learned to grow.
Dropping all my pride, You have allowed my softer side to show.
I don' know how I could go on, If you were to ever go.
And we love... Treating each moment as if it were the end.
Holding onto every memory, Breathing together, Letting all fears go in the wind.
Forgetting our worries, Although they linger too close too home.
Showing the world what it is to really love... I pray for you on the fragile wings of the morning dove.
And we love...
Late in the night, I wake up at look at you sleeping.
Knowing that you are near, But far away dreaming.
My mind begins to wander, And my thoughts come back to only you.
The first time we met...
Your laughter...
Dancing barefoot in the sand...
The butterflies that flutter in my soul, Each time you touch my hand.
How much I love you, And the emotion that you stir inside my heart... Simply for being my only man.
And we love... Treating each moment as if it were the end.
Holding onto every memory, Breathing together, Letting all fears go in the wind.
Forgetting our worries, Although they linger too close to home.
Showing the world what it is to really love, I pray for you on the fragile wings of a morning dove.
And we love...
You are my everything.
You are all the beauty in this world, And the greatest gift that life could bring.
I have no fear of tomorrow.
You being right here... Gives me hope even through the sorrow.
In the end, Time will sound the final bell.
I know that you have taught me all you can...
I will go on.
You have taught me well.
Till there is no end.
And we love... Never once giving in.
And we love...

Blue and Star - well done! I should probably read more often; happened to wander in and catch these two and I know there's lots of other good work around. Kudos to "those who dare" - sometimes, that's as important as the creation itself.....maybe more. HH
