Something very special to me.
Flying with Angels Dear Angel – thank you for being there I always thought that I was alone You held me up in my hour of despair Did he send you to save me? I don’t know
I wept and cried, said that love had died You said oh no, I was simply lost In my life I need much, much more You said ah yes, but can you pay the price?
This pedestal of yours is too high for me Those nice words you said, I cannot stand I’m not that perfect, why can’t you see? You smiled at me and held out your hand
The clouds have cleared, I see the sky Could have lost what I hold so dear Thanks for taking me the road so high Thank him for sending you to walk with me
Flying with angels to the edge of the earth Feathers so soft, they comfort the hurt Lift me to heaven it’s so clear up high Tranquility, stability, love cannot deny Never again will I doubt my own faith He sent me an angel, it was not too late

This is a conversation I had
"Magnolia Tree"
I tell you about a Magnolia tree outside my window Spring is not ready For her Pedestrians walking Around I'm not a lamp post she says I'm just lonely For now Birds even think I'm too naked To build a house in
I see you looking at me I can be your friend For now Until Spring dresses me up In a festive gown

Iwo, I enjoyed reading your conversation...I like the voice of the tree. Very honest...the piece reminds me of beat nicks in a old smoke filled cafe...very cool...that is great!

I have not posted in a while...time to start!
Cage on fire
Locked in a cage, the bars are created by fire and flames.
Want so much more in life.
Can't break free...
They say that this is life, and that it's the way it has to be.
How I desire to break the bars, to once again be free.
I am stronger now than in the past.
No fear or doubt of what I am.
I need to release this pent up anger!
Need to have a moment to just be me...
The deeds of the past are gone.
I see the future bright as day.
Just need to break the bars, face the flames and be free.

Cascading Dreams
Cascading dreams flood her once desolate desert soul.
Like a mirage forming in the distant heat.
She can see all her dreams before her... so close, yet unreachable to her perception of reality.

Because Iwo inspired me....
Beat Nick Date
He see's me... I know that he does.
I should look away.
Do you think I was staring too much?
He really is cute... Has a nice butt to boot.
I talked with him so many times... In the grocery store on the phone line.
Just in my mind.
I don't think that I have a chance... the man is too fine.
Wait he is coming this way!
What should I do? What should I say?
Maybe I have time to run away... No I can't be that way.
He probably hasn't seen me.
He will just walk past, without a second glance.
He is right in front of me.
What should I say?
He just said something!
Oh, my God...
Inner dialog so loud I did not hear anything.
I reply 'what a pleasant day'.
He laughs and says he tried to find me the other day.
I faultier my words, yet manage to state that I had a very busy day... no time to shop that late.
With a smile he asks me on a date.
I try not to dance around like a madman, yet squeak out 'Great'.
Leaning down he passes a gentle kiss upon the top of my hand, and walks away...
I turn and crash into a trash can.
That is fine... what a man.

You know I still remember the first beatnick poem I heard...it was called "square". It was about the square shape. I believe it was a red square...lol...
Thank you Iwo for reminding me of the poems I first studied.
I hope you liked the poem you inspired me to write. It is my attempt at beatnick writing..lol.

Iwo and Boston Both of you are going to make me cry...Thank you for both of your very kind and generous words. I am keeping a portfolio of all my works. I was going to build a website, but hubby suggested that I focus on trying to get published outside the Internet world. Besides, I am hopeless on creating a website even with the fancy programs that the Mac has... ;D I guess a girl can dream bigger, right? I will keep trying. Maybe, one day I will be able to get published. You both are really so sweet. Thank you.

Lemon
I’m sorry to them for messing up I know you’re disappointed I need to get my act together All your plans ruined I’ll try to do better
I’m sorry to her I keep forgetting I know you think I am perfect Why didn’t I do this And why didn’t I do that I should have met your expectations
I’m sorry to him for asking too much I just wanted to give happiness Create big smiles and warm hearts Shouldn’t have asked you to take part
I’m sorry to the world ‘Cuz I’m not that perfect Never pretended to be I just want to live a good life I just want to be free to be me

The Lovers
Don't ask me about tomorrow It's in a thousand years
Let's sail in a white boat Now Be my Juliet I rescued from receiving that Gold ring
Now is in deep waters For stars to shine At it And keep to theirs secrets Playing games who's going to find it first
Tomorrow For a thousand years From now on
