LOL... shhh... don't tell, but sometimes I forget 'real names' in this land of screen names Hey... but most people call me 'Star' too when they see me at shows.

ha ha its cool! i didnt know if you knew her real name lol... me and her are BFFS! we went to high school together and we have been inseperable ever since lol... we are actually watching the same show and texting right now lol..... most haunted live in gettysburg is scary! we already made plans to go there this coming summer ha ha! and plus im going home (im at college and she is still living where i am from) this coming weekend and we are going haunted housing! shes coming over for dinner and to hang out and stuff. i ♥ her lol

I might post something soon... I posted a new one over on my myspace page. But, I saw all this new creativity on the thread start up, so I decided to take the back seat for a while and watch.

Actually, I wrote 20 new works this week... um... I'm kind of on another creativity overload ,and that means a landslide of thoughts/poems running through my head. It isn't a pretty sight...LOL So, I will just post as I go.

In the meantime I am enjoying reading... post on peeps.

i love your work its really good! im pre-occupied with this show lol so my creativity is turned off for now. i cant focus on to many things without my mind blowing up ha ha

Yup.. I get lost in screen names. I haven't talked with her much one to one, but I have seen a few of her paintings, and they are awesome. It's great to see other aspects of her creativity.

That sounds like an adventure... and it's cool that you have such a good friend in her. I am swamped in work (personal and otherwise), so I don't watch t.v much anymore. Still, I try to make time to read... but, it has been like a month since I have had time to even do that. Life as a single parent and a woman with goals... I guess there are worse things than a busy schedule.

Thank you for saying that. It is always a blessing to have people support my work. Um.. no minds exploding here...LOL... the pages are hard to clean up after something like that

i know how hard being a single mom is. i saw my mom do it. and it was never easy for her. she was always worried about makign sure we had everything we needed but she was always the best mom ever. i know its alot of hard work and it wears you down but you can do it. seeing my mom go without so me and my brothers could have new clothes for school was always hard. thats why i dont have any problem with giving her money now when she needs it or taking her shopping or just taking her out to dinner. she always did it for me when i couldnt do it for myself so i always try to help her out when i can.

and yeah rachel is an amazing painter... wait till you see martys b-day gift... shes not gonna post pics till after he opens all the gifts and does his usual blog thanking everyone. she doesnt want to ruin it for him.. but its the best thing i have ever seen her do!

I can't wait to see it I took art, but I am not very good at painting... so it's amazing to me to watch other's that have that talent. Art is beautiful...

I had chosen different words.

Perfect Liz... I was just going to suggest the same thing to Rachel. I love reading new stories, and the best way to showcase them is to start your own thread. That way the poetry on this thread doesn't get lost in all the pages (since this thread was designed for poetry), and so that people can see what work that you have done specifically. I mean you have put so much work into your story, I am sure that you want it to be seen, right? LOL

Thank you Steph and Liz. Glad you liked my non-rhyming poem -- it was HARD since the rhyming gods kept tempting me, but I remained strong.

Liz, I HIGHLY doubt you're done. Maybe it's writer's block, a creative slump, or your mind is strongly focused on other things right now. I'm confident you'll get your groove back.
