Fantastic! I like seeing some shows like this being added!!!
I can't make it due to a prior engagement. But those of you going to this consider making a full weekend out of IL shows and go to Holding Mercury's show on Saturday. This would be a great weekend for a roadtrip or for out of towners to travel in!!!

Hmmm. Not sure about this. That's a bit of a trip right after work for me. Nancy - it should be easy for you - right near Urbana-Champaign. Just head west on 74

I'm going for sure....just a matter of whether it is a chicks trip or if I can persuade my hubby to tagging along. Anyone up for getting a bite before the show? Now I have a deadline to finish the scrapbook....hopefully this one will work better than my deadline for the Arboretum show. Haven't given up on getting him to Bloomington though!

I won't be going after all. It's just to hard to coordinate and I have training the next morning. Have a blast and tell us all about it.

I'm sorry you won't be able to make it Judy. I'm still trying to work things out - I have to be back the next morning, too. Depends on whether hubby wants to drive back in the middle of the night.

Sorry to hear you won't be able to make the show Judy I know that I miss Chicago... but, money wise I just can't make any travel plans during the holidays this year. I am a single parent, and money just isn't stretching as far as it once did. Part of it is the overall cost of living these days, and the other is simply having a child that is going to school. Oh, money trees? Where are all the dang money trees? I need to plant a money tree...LOL

With patience comes good things, as starcross says! ive waited a year in between shows before... and theshow after the year was well worth the wait. I am happy waiting to see Marty it all comes in time, until then I will busy myself with going to see local bands!! RL

Oh, money trees? Where are all the dang money trees? I need to plant a money tree...LOL I commend you on being a single parent. I know you have to make some tough decisions on a daily basis. Money comes and goes, but happiness is in the small moments, like when your son smiles. I don't have any kids of my own, but I have an inkling of what it might be like through spending time with my 3 nephews. Don't worry. Marty seems to be in SoCal a lot more these days. There'll be more opportunities for you to see him.

Thank you Judy. Being a single parent isn't easy I must admit (especially when my son is aware that it is just me now and sometimes tries to test me). Still, I love my son with all my heart and I try to do all that I am able to make sure he is happy. Being an Aunt is great experience to go by My older brother doesn't have children either, but he has spent enough time with my son to understand parenting issues. My favorite one that he has learned is 'kids have boundless energy'... I love watching my Mr. Fitness brother get winded and tired, before my son...LOL I always laugh, because my brother complains that he can not remember being that active as a kid. Sometimes neither do I... LOL Awe... no worries from me on the shows. I wish I could go to every single one (if only to visit with friends), but I know I can't. I will wait and when I can then that will be great. Still... I love Chicago It feels like a second home to me.

Hello everyone! We are getting a bunch of people to go to Tolono - I'm about an hour away. My sister Jackie's husband, Guido plays for the Brat Pack (local 80's band) and he and a couple of the other members of the Brat Pack are supposed to open for Marty. Jackie brought me some flyers yesterday to post. I'm sooooo excited!!!!!!!! We will see you there! - Jami www.myspace.com/rockstar314
