Hi all...I am mostly a lurker...enjoy reading everyone's post...and thought I would introduce myself...  my story is pretty similar to the majority...remembered INXS from the day...watched the show...FELL IN LOVE with Marty  ...and here I am...best thing I can say is ...watching Marty go out on a limb inspired me...reinvigorated some of my own creativity and made music a little more interesting to me...  I am so sick of the one hit wonders  ...and really believe he has what it takes to be around and relevant for a long time...bought the CD's LOVE L'Strange...have been listening to it nonstop for a few months now...and can genuinely say...I love every song... which is something else I miss...a COMPLETE album as opposed to a hit single wrapped in crap  oh...and MOMM also ROCKS...can't wait for the concert...got Feb. tickets in MO ...a bit of a drive for me (live in IL) but worth it ;D |

Hey all. My name is Cari and I'm from Elyria, OH, about 30 miles west of Cleveland. I'm new to Marty fandom, and I must warn you that I LOVE JD also and am not afraid to tell people about it! I can't wait to see Marty and JD on tour together, hopefully they'll get a chance to perform togethre. Although I'm not sure if my little heart could take all that hotness on one stage!

Hi everyone, my name is Yvonne and at age 55, I am probably the newest and oldest "older woman" fans at this website, however the Lovehammers music and particularly Marty himself make me feel 19 again!!! I blast MOMM and L'Strange at home and in my car and worry about wearing out the DVD!!! My husband and coworkers mock me for having such a crush on Marty...but thanks to all of you here for making me feel proud of being a Marty fan!!!! Any fans in the Pittsburgh area?

Hello Marty Fans. It took me quite a while to find this site as I was always looking under The Lovehammers. I hope you take no offense, but I'm a #1 JD fan who also loves Marty. My husband and I live in the Seattle area and our kids are our 3 Saint Bernard dogs. I just today bought a cd of Marty's songs from Rockstar, so I'll be glad when it arrives in the mail. I will be attending the INXS concert here in Seattle and I am also looking forward to seeing Marty and The Lovehammers. BTW, how is the new cd MOMM??

Barbara123 MOMM isn't a particularly new cd. It was released summer 2004 I believe....but since the Lovehammers have only recently been discovered nationwide due to Marty on RS.... it is "NEW" to many of us. It is a great cd! You definitely should order it.

Hi, barbara123 ;D. I posted a message for you on "favorite besides Marty" thread. I can understand why you feel you might offend someone here, because I, myself, wanted to post at the JD official site but I felt I might not be welcome there. You are so brave . Please know that I'm sure there are others like me here who likes JD and will have no problem with respectful JD fans like you posting. You are, indeed, very welcome to post here or just to keep updated with Marty news. By the way, besides MOMM, the Lovehammers also has another cd prior to MOMM and it's called "L' Strange" and it's different from MOMM. If you're new to Marty's music, I suggest that you listen first to "L'Strange" album before MOMM. |
