Hi all, I'm from Toronto. I'm over 40, female with two little boys who wonder why there is only one person on that TV show (since I keep sneaking peaks are Marty videos whenever I get a chance). Anyone going to the Feb. 7th show? Hey Everlong. I'm always happy to see a new hoser on here. ;D I WISH I was going to one of the Massey Hall shows. I couldn't get time off work. The tickets sold out SO fast, too. Are you going? |

Nice to see some T.O. fans here.
Yep I got a ticket. I joined the fan club and ended up with nothing so I decided to go to the Mall to try to get tickets. I was 5th in line (due to the random draw) and they were down to single tickets only after the first person!!
I'm desparate enough to go by myself and no one desparately wanted to go with me so I went for it. I'm going solo! (much better than bringing dh)

Lol, not a newbie, but realized I'd never signed up until now....
Missed getting tickets for the Toronto shows....still can't believe it, but we're still trying to wrangle two tickets <sigh>

Hi. I live in Ontario.  I love Marty! One of the main reasons I joined this forum was so people could watch the tribute movie I made for him. Hi everyone - I'm from Winnipeg, Manitoba and am part of the over 50 crowd. Wow I love reading all these posts - Marty seems to have evoked such adulation from us all. I think one of the reasons is his mad conductor thing. I can't explain it but when he does that, I feel like he's inviting us to take the journey with him - like he's drawing us into his world. All I can say is - he is truly charismatic and talented. I'm glad there are so many of us - we will be following the LoveHammers journey to the top. And it will be truly exciting.

I'm from Vancouver BC and i'm a 19 year old female....Marty and Jordis were my two fav's on RSINXS (I swear the show ate my brain) and I hope to be going to the INXS concert on the 18th

God, I love Marty, the most BEAUTIFUL piece of ...I've layed eyes on in quite some time, next to my husband of course. I'm married, three daughters that all love Marty too, and the dog. If anyone wants to sneak me into the toronto show, just let me know, I'd give my left.....to see him in person.

Hey! Canadian Kate here! I'm from Southwestern Ontario (London area), married and have 3 daughters. I live in a crazy house!
Smarties eh? Is that Canadian? Wow, my knowledge base of useless information just keeps growing day after day! In the last week or so I have learned that the following words belong to the foreign language we call "Canadian":
Alphaghetti
Spaghettini
Neo-Citran
Toque (okay so I knew that one before)
also previously determined foreign words are:
Hydro
Laneway
Poutine
I'm sure there are more...
I was fortunate enough to attend the Aragon Ballroom show in Chicago last month! Yay me! It was awesome and I have discovered that I love Chicago! While in Chicago my daughter and I spent time with some of our fellow Hammerheads...American Hammerheads. We learned a few things there too.
Iced Tea is called sweet tea
and they have baked potato soup
We also learned that most of the southern fans can't handle the temperatures in Chicago in December.
Great to see so many Canadian fans! Nice to meet everyone.
