What if your favorite singers from both seasons were pitted against each other in Rock Star: All-Stars? And what if we hosted the competition at RockBandLounge.com as an incentive to get you all to write more letters to CBS asking them to give us another REAL season of Rock Star? Sound like a plan? This week we're watching Marty's "Baby One More Time" and this is what I personally posted... Wow, and now the game changes... Marty slays me with this one. Baby, yeah one more time - and then again, and again, and again. Like JD, he totally turns the song upside down and squeezes all kinds of new meaning out of it. It's dark and intense and oh so much more than Britney ever imagined. And the violins? beautiful. And that little break in his voice on "Supposed to know?" f**king gorgeous. And when he sings "My loneliness is killing me" - talk about shivers. And he does it all on a stool in the center of the stage. With the writers strike CBS is currently casting a new round of Big Brother with a start date of February. I'd much much rather see Rock Star on the schedule! Plus I need some help - I'm only one vote for Marty and I'm seriously outnumbered by Lukas, JD and Ryan fans! |

Marty fans go vote! I just did and right now he only has 8% of the vote, which puts him behind J.D., Lukas, and Toby. The three lowest scores (if memory serves correctly) were Deanna, Jordis, and Phil. Methinks that will pull the Dirtygirls out of hiding.
