Nope... not in the finale yet. There is next week where we have to present another RS video and then there is another elimination. That gives you the 3 surviving singers. Those three have to present two RS videos I believe. After that there is another elimination leaving the top two. Those two are the finale night vote which is when we can show a LH video alongside our best RS video.....
Confused enough yet? Yeah, it is confusing. But we are SOOOOO close.
Right Cheryl and Grunge rocker? It think that is the way it works...
You are correct in that we have been winning some converts over there and getting our guys exposure. We even had some fans say they have bought the LH cd now.
Many of those fans had never heard LH before so this has been a really great street teaming exercise. Thanks to all the hard working fans!

Ok so I was wrong on the three competitions yet, but correct that next week is not finale week. So this week coming up (for next Sunday) we have to do two RS songs, then the week after is the finale when we can do one RS song and one non-RS song... I think.

It's fabulous that new people are hearing the LH and buying their cds! I think some of the other artists are getting new fans as well, maybe not in the voting but at least in the buying of their music, etc.
I even downloaded Zayra's band - Pretty Baby - free song package from a link at Rockbandlounge. I never "got" her on RS, but I like the Pretty Baby songs!

You've pretty much got it, but here's the lowdown...
January 20th & 22nd
Each singer will present two Rock Star performances. Will you choose one hard and one slow? One fun and one serious? One brilliant and one "I-got-stuck-with-this-song" selection? Up to you! Just be sure to choose two!
The last Bottom Three Tuesday where we vote a singer OUT, will occur on January 22nd.
January 27th & 29th
January 27th will be the very last Sunday Performance Poll - and the singer with the fewest votes at the end of Sunday night will be eliminated, leaving us with our ultimate finalists. Then on Tuesday, January 29th we will vote FOR the Ultimate Rock Star.
If your favorite singer makes it to finale week, you'll be able to show off one Rock Star clip and one Non-Rock Star clip, on both Sunday and Tuesday. And any song from the entire season and/or their entire catalog is eligible. This is about showing your favorite as the Ultimate Rock Star, so we want to see the best of the best, even if you've already used that same clip earlier in the game.

That is one board that fans from so many different rock singers congegrate. It is a great place to wander outside our closed clique and find fans to introduce to the band. That is what street teaming is all about! I am so proud of all the Hammerheads who are participating in this competition and going the extra distance to convert other fans and spread the LH joy! My username is sporadic on that board (you may have seen me around) and it is fun to read all the posts about LH and Marty as well as learn something new about some of the other singers too. BTW, key... did you have a chance to spread the voting word over on the LeperPop board? I know Leperpop will help us out...they are big fans of Marty and the band. |

I hope those of you voting in the regular competition have a chance to mosey over to the RBL poll today and vote on elimination day. Very tough voting to eliminate someone. Very sad, indeed. Hi, here's how I keep track:
Sunday, Jan. 20: Performance Vote. We present 2 RS songs instead of the usual 1.
Tuesday, Jan 22: Bottom Three. 3 out of the remaining 4 singers will go to elimination round.
Sunday, Jan 27: Performance Vote. There are 3 singers left now. The 1 with the fewest votes will be eliminated
Tuesday, Jan 29: Performance Vote. Two singers are left. The one who gets the most votes becomes the Ultimate Rock Star.

Hey Babes! Are you ready to really push this Sunday?
Here's my thoughts - only one singer will evade the bottom three this week, and so that means either JD or Marty will for sure be in the Bottom Three, and after watching Lukas get eliminated last night, I REALLY want to avoid the B3!
So we can either let Marty fall into the B3, and then have to work harder on Tuesday to save him, or we can just put our best effort out there on Sunday, and take Tuesday off. I vote for the second scenario!

You are so correct Cheryl! Marty has to be the top vote getter this week. Cause if he hits the bottom three, he will be eliminated no doubt since he is doing so well in the contest that the others will target him.
The plan is he MUST get the most votes this Sunday. And everyone has to be sure to vote and recruit more voters than ever before. I don't want anyone cheating though. We want legitiment one vote per REAL person votes. I know that some of the fans for singers are gonna try to beat the system....but it won't be us. So lets play fair and square and just go out and recruit every LH fan, friend, family member, co-worker, that we can find.
