There's another thread floating around here about this. I would love to hear Marty sing Remedy by Seether! He would so rock! You are so RIGHT ON with Marty doing Seether! Have never heard their stuff..just did..!!

Tom Petty's You Got Lucky - hell anything by Tom Petty would do it for me.
How about a Lovehammers Christmas Album - how cool would that be?

Yea, we could rock out to grungy chords on Jingle Bells! Then just chill on Marty's voice for Silent Night. Not a bad idea bobswife!

I second the Tom Petty idea, and am thinking a New Year's song. It could be crazy and electric or sensitive, as long as Marty is singing it.

Does Marty remind anyone else of David Bowie? He has that same mesmerizing intensity. I would love to hear Marty do some Bowie songs. I have also thought he should do "Behind Blue Eyes".

I would love tohear him sing a U2 song... maybe One? How intense would that be? Definitely something by U2...I completely agree that "one" would be awesome by Marty...how about "all i want"?? Blurry (p of mud) would sound MUCH better by Marty Daysleeper (REM) Also, and this is kind of out there, but how about "500 miles" (Proclaimers) And now I've gone absolutely nuts so don't hate me: "eyes without a face" (B.Idol). Do any of these sound appealing?? Again, think about MARTY singing them and not about whether or not u like the song. Peace to all

Would love to hear him sing "light my fire" or "riders on the storm" by The Doors, or infact anything by The Doors, Marty and Jim Morrison share the same deep soulful intense voice.

I'm such a damp old rag. There are sooo many songs Marty could do fabulously . Hell, he made a Britney Spears song palatable, that in and of itself is amazing. But for me there is nothing like his own music. It gives us a little glimpse into his world - his thoughts, feelings, reactions... And from what I have heard so far, lovehammerland is a great place to be

"Beth" by Kiss.
Marty sings with such sincerity, it would be better than the original. (It is also my all-time favorite song!)

Guns 'n Roses Sweet Child O' Mine Erm... I disagree on this one... I just don't think he could hit the same notes as Axel... on the same note... there is just NOWAY the Lovehammers could do justice to the songs Numb and In the End by Linkin Park... No offence... Maybe there should be a thread for songs they shouldn't do...
