One of my fav's. Bob Segars "TURN THE PAGE" oooohh I love this song. Bob Segar sings it with such feeling and emotion. Marty could sing this as if every lyric and emotion and feeling was coming out of his pores. He feels his music. I love to listen to this song in the dark.
Also "Out in the cold" by Tom Petty. Awesome

I would like to see him do something by Segar also. Love those songs, and so far Marty does every song better than the original, so I can't imagine how good they would be with his intensity.

Hi My name is Tammy and this is my first post here. This may sound strange ( as I am not Britney) fan) but I loved when Marty sang Hit Me Baby One More Time. I think he made that song sound amazing....and lol my husband agreed with me.

I'd like him to hear him do anything by Metallica, The Doors, or Nirvana. Also: Behind Blue Eyes...Rebel Yell...White Wedding...Pink Floyd's Run...and Paint It Black (which I heard Lovehammer's occasionally does a kick-butt cover of).
Edited 'cause I spelled something wrong and I want to add the song "Sex and Candy"...does anyone remember that one?

I know it doesn't seem right...Lyle Lovett...but the song is really well written. If Marty could make over any of these songs like he did the Hit me baby one more time song then they would be amazing.
This is a pipe dream though since I am sure Marty has had his fill of covering other peoples material.

Yep I love wires - it's my current favourite. Marty would do an awsome job I think. Haven't heard Bother but will download and have a listen. Love Remedy too.

Up until today I couldn't think of any recorded songs I wanted to hear Marty sing; I love his own stuff so much. It just occurred to me, though, that I would LOVE to hear what he could do with Bowie's "Hang On To Yourself". Come on, come on, we've really got a good thing going Come on, come on, if you think we're gonna make it You better hang on to yourself LH would rock that song and Marty delivering those lyrics would be smokin' hot.  |
