wow marty you are awsome i was gunna see the lovehammers in chicago but before i could even check on tickets they were sold out! ... that made me so mad .... ill just have to go to one another time darn ... u are awsome and dont anybody tell u any diffrent!!!!!! well hopefully ill ttyl (i really really hope) bye

I will be in DC too, I am coming from Florida by myself. Where are you staying? Are you alone?
I am in the Harrington Hotel, two blocks from the Warner.
Also going to see Marty baby on the 26th in Florida with my son.
Mary is going to rock the place.

I just reread Marty's post. For the very first time it hit me that he actually took the time to thank his fans for all of their loving support. Fame certainly has not gone to his head. He is truely a fine person, very concerned about his fan base. During the 45 minute set at the concert , I am sure he will feel the love that is emanating from his loyal fans. I only wish there were some way that we could meet Marty and the Lovehammers, just for a minute. It would be sooooooo wonderful. Who knows, maybe they are staying in my hotel.!!!!!     Jean |

Hi Marty! I am so excited for you and The Lovehammers! I'll admit that I am a new fan after hearing about you for the first time on INXS Rockstar (which you should have won by the way). I was even more excited for you and the band, when it was announced that you guys would be headlining the INXS tour. So in the end, you were the biggest winner anyway!!!!

Hoping that you are sincere in wanting to know what makes all of these fans "tick"...I am responding... learning...growing and evolving...and making a difference make me tick...I grab inspiration from everything...music...movies...books... I am a fighter...a survivor...and you have inspired and re-invigorated me...I know that may sound melodramatic...but it's true...watching you stick to your dream...and fight for that dream...is inspiring...I purchased L'Strange and MOMM and found your lyrics...the music...moving in a variety of ways...unfortunately...life and it's challenges...have slowed me down...I lost sight of my dreams...and have been fighting to find them again...the battle has been slow...and watching you came along at the right time...my interest in music has been recharged...I had found myself bored with what the music industry and artists had been producing...nothing seemed moving...I missed the concept record (showing my age :-) I love exploring an entire album/cd and being able to love the Entire work of art...I miss artists that have something to say...and have the staying power to stick around...I am hoping you will be one of those artists...I love that you are grounded...yet can abandon self-restraint on stage...which is a refreshing balance...I am so tired of the stereotypical rockstar's rise to fame and downfall...music is so much more than the party and the sex...if done well ...it is a form of poetry...something designed to move you...speak to you...Wow...I am so impressed that you took the time to check out the website and post on the board...the more I observe the more I am pleased with you and the band...it's not often that a band will recognize and give back to the fans in such a fashion...my sister kept bugging me to watch this reality t.v. show "Rockstar INXS"...and I kept resisting...I get to involved and drive myself crazy...she finally won...I watched...and the first time I watched you ("Take me Out") ...I was hooked...the longer I watched the more mesmerized I became...I found myself feeling young again...I stayed up until ALL HOURS OF THE NIGHT to vote for you...lurked on the message boards to find out more about you and the band...which by the way showed a great amount of love and grace throughout the audition process and allowed you to follow your heart...without any guilt or doubt...I see a lot of the bad and criminal in this world due to my career...and this experience has given me a reprieve...outlet...thank you...Kim (wldhrt85)...p.s. I am traveling to MO to see you, the Lovehammers and Inxs...I plan to ROCK MY ASS OFF |

Hi Marty and Fans,
Just saw you and your INXS friends in Oakland, what a FANTASTIC show. I love your performance and couldn't believe I was dancing to your music and singing along with you LIVE and in person. To my surprise I was able to meet you after the show. It was a brief "I'm a big fan" and picture but it was the perfect ending to a fun-filled night. Thanks Marty...Keep on Rockin My California World

Ahhh so this post has ended up with 15 pages, pretty amazing given that it is a post made by just one person.
Marty your amazing and helping the people on this board through so much. We share our good times, bad times, sad times, happy and gay times with you through your music.
I can't say that will make sense to anyone other then me but i can only hope.
Hopefully i'll see you around Australia sometime.

This site rocks and so do the Lovehammers. Was at the show in Minnesota and they Kicked ASS. Marty you scared me by hanging upside down from balcony. Me asked if you jumped off, I said no he is just hanging upside down. Your crazy, but that ok we are all crazy a little take care see you soon.

Marty, Great concert in St. Charles MO. I was disappointed because they took my camera at the door. They said that cameras weren't allowed. I promised myself and my two kids that I will try to get a picture of you when you are in the area again. I hope that this will be soon. We enjoyed your band so much. My hubby and I rooted for you from day one of RockStar:INXS! I knew you were a star when you covered one of my favorite songs, "Take Me Out". You also seem so grounded and humble, and that makes you shine all the more. Trees rocked our world, and we still root for you and your band. Can't wait to hear more. Rock on! |
