I know we already have a thread about favorite LH songs, but I was wondering if there were particular lyrics that became your favorites?
I love in "the Tunnel" where Marty sings "...well peek-a-boo, I see you through the exit wound"
And of course "stare at me, I can hypnotize you"
Anyone else?

I love that "peek-a-boo" part, too!
Another favorite is from "Use Me" when he sings "you don't have the right...never did you wrong". It's just expresses a powerful emotion for me in so few words.

"Let yourself fall Fall into me Drown yourself in my body" Say You're Sorry is my favourite...I love them all but this one gets me everytime...heaven. Also, see my signature. "Indian style on the bedroom floor getting a kiss and then wanting more we all know how the story goes..." Self explanatory I think "This is no way to live so I told her Don't let the door hitcha on the way out" Just so cool...as is "Don't let me down, do not do not..." This Town is a great song I love rocking out to it. (Listening to it now...I wanna hear ya hear ya now!) and "started getting angry, for no apparent reason..." Clouds...."I am just like you, I wish for more of this life.... " Call of Distress..."reasons will never change what happened in my room today..." Yeah, I am totally digging this cd ' seriously sexy, completely cool!!

"Indian style" is one of my favorite verses too - leaves such a vivid mental image, if you know what I mean...

"THE MAN'S A POET!"
Yes he is!!!!! I think that everything else he does comes out of that. He is at his core a writer, a poet, equipped with the sensitive soul of a poet. It comes through in all he does.

"Don't say that your sorry/It's not your fault/Don't say that you'll change/I know that you won't/Don't say that your sorry/When feelings grow cold" ...Speaks to me...reminds me of an old relationship that went south.

I'm so addicted to that song, it's on continuous repeat.. And I know what you mean!

I a listening to Eyes Can't See at this moment - and sometimes it is so simple --
Close your eyes and picture Marty singing: "Here I am"

Oh, nice selection gdm3! Another one I love: (from Velvet) "Now its time we take some time Strip off all the layers I see what your body has to offer My mind hits the dirt Start the penetration Your lips don't hesitiate In and out together Bodies can hardly wait" If that doesn't get ya in the mood, nothin' will.

Glad you all liked it! - Just so you know, gdm3, I don't think Velvet is on L'Strange, actually I have no idea what CD Velvet is on . I got a clip from the "Yes It Do" board here in the Hammerheads section and lyrics off the LH board under "Lyrics" in the Hammerhead section. Edited 'cause got more responses...didn't know I'd cause such a stir(ring)!
