Someone commented on my CBGB's video that I uploaded and they said- "Good music, but put on a shirt" and I was like WHAT! I'm glad you like their music.. but if I had things my way Marty wouldn't ever be wearing a shirt..

I've been on a bit of a board hiatus lately, so I'm trying to catch up on some recent posts now ...

Rubi, it was great meeting you too. Hope to see you again at another show! And I loved your pics; thanks for putting them out there for all to share.

Sharon, I'm glad you enjoyed reading about my CBGB's experience. And I can't wait to hear about your first LH show ... you'll be going to SXSW, right? BTW, good call on how I make a living: I'm an editor/writer ... though I usually don't get such captivating subjects as LH to write about!

Wendy, thanks again for spearheading the dinner plans and helping the out-of-towners work though some of the planning logistics. You really know your stuff! And I loved the Noho Star; it's one of the precious few restaurants on the planet where I'd be comfortable ordering meat loaf . The food was excellent! (And I had this strange urge to get my leftovers packed up to take to Marty that night ;D)

myohmy, if you really want to feel like you're back at CBGB's, check out some of the videos from the show that are floating around out there. First one I saw made me say, "Wow! So it WASN'T just a great dream!!!"

luxie, yes ... the show was an incredible experience that defies being described in words. That's just the way it is, I think! And I wish I'd gotten to meet you that night. Another time, I hope! BTW, where was that comment made about Marty's shirt? Heck, it was so warm in the club that by the time LH really got going, I would've taken off my tank if I could've ... LOL! I really don't understand those wardrobe critiques that Marty gets sometimes, about his shirtlessness or the position of his waistband. Did someone impose a dress code on rock 'n' roll when I wasn't looking?

Okay, so this is me being petty, but the more pictures I see from fans who had a real chance to meet & greet the guys, the more disappointed I am that those of went to CBGB's were overlooked ... I mean, there were only 150 of us ...

Just to complain a little more, look at the number of hits this thread got. Really, it's VERY FRUSTRATING, especially in light of the fact that MCLH won't be joining INXS when they make up the 2/12 show.

Thanks, velvet. I'd love to go to HammerFest! And I'm sure there will be many other chances to see them, it just won't be like being in that tiny little club, which was a once in a lifetime experience.

On second thought, that all by itself is pretty special.

all I can say is WOW!!!! nice picture! You were very lucky to get that pic. Yeah i would frame it and hang it. Beautiful!! Way to go girl!!!!!!
