It was VERY cool to see how gracious the LH's are with fans. After the concert they were signing autographs through a fence until Marty had enough of that and had someone boost him up so he could jump the fence and be out with fans. cj - Thank you so much for stopping by and posting us some news! I really appreciate it. I that part about Marty jumping the fence. A Marty hug - sigh - there isn't the enough emoticons to describe it. So glad you got one ;D Just waiting for a pic of that ahem - full moon

No problem.
Linda is working on posting a set list now and should have it up soon.
Definitely not enough emoticons to describe a Marty hug! Will definitely keep me on a high for quite a while!

That's the thing w/ LHs...once you see them live there is no turning back... you're hooked and no matter how rational you think you are there is just nothing you can do about it. I read there were about 300 folks watching them play at the stage they were on...I am sure all of those people are telling their friends/family/co-workers....and now therapists that they are hooked.
I'm glad you got the Marty hug... This band is just awesome...thanks for the review...
AND FOR GOD SAKES WOULD SOMEONE PLEASE POST THE FULL MOON PIC!!!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D

Well................................ Marty was definitely in full Marty form--moving and prowling all over the stage, climbing the support beam and hanging upside down, and the ultimate--the full moon!! ;D He was crazy, intense, full of energy, beautiful....what else can I say? He was off the stage and roaming through the crowd a couple of times. I know someone got an official set list, so hopefully they will post it, but off the top of my head, it goes like this: Started out with
Straight As An Arrow followed by (in no particular order): This Town Clinic The Riddle The Tunnel Eyes Can't See Call of Distress Trees Hold On Paint It Black
I have probably forgotten one or two--I'm sure others will fill in the gaps. They sounded great! Everyone looked great!! It was great to see Dino playing--he looked beautiful.
Everytime I see these guys, I just want more. When Billy finally appeared, he was trying to eat a funnel cake--he was so cute--chatting with fans, signing away and eating his cake! CJ made sure I got my picture taken with Bobby! I'm such a dork--I won't actually go up and ask, so she went up to him while I was turned away and told him her "chicken" friend wanted a picture with him. So he said sure, and the next thing I knew, I had Bobby's arm around me with him saying, "C'mere Chicken!" Geez.......what a doll!
Anyway, that's all from here for now. We're off to the festival for a while, and we'll let you know if we have any other sightings!!

I'd bet that they will be wandering around the festival listening to other bands, so all you folks still down there, keep your eyes open!!!!!

Thanks for the awesome stories girls! that Marty climbed the fence to be with the fans Bobby and the chicken. And Billy with the funnelcake made me laugh out loud. Hope you got some pics of the events! You are right, though, once you've seen them play live, there is no turning back.......

WooHoo, what a show. Thanks for sharing your stories, cj and linda. you are SO welcome! My gosh, it's the least we can do--those of us lucky enough to go! I don't think we'll have many pictures though--didn't see much in the way of cameras going off. Mostly camera phones that I could see. And those of us in front literally had security LOOKING at us!! There was a fence, then about 3 or 4 feet of space between us and the stage. Security stood in that space facing the crowd. No chance for pictures there!! But there were a lot of camera phones being used afterward! By the way, we are still in the hotel room, because I now have OBSESSED CJ looking up Lovehammer stuff on Ebay and everywhere else she can think of. I'll never have to think about going to a Lovehammer concert alone again!! ;D ;D Linda

Still here in Memphis. Having the time of my life. Have met some really cool Hammerheads. Oh yeah, I also saw this really great band with this awesome lead singer. Maybe you have heard of them, Lovehammers. I was spellbound. It was like I couldn't take my eyes off of him. Even from the stage down to where I was standing his eyes were stunning, his energy was contagious, and the music was rockin. During the 'Tunnel' he touched my hand and I was officially Hammered. Sorry I am not very good at review writing. I just wanted to tell everyone I finally got my moment and it was wonderful. I am happier than I can put into words. Sharon, very satisified
