I don't even know where to begin! This show was f'ing amazing. I have been to a handful of shows and thought they were all great, but I can't put into words how this show blew the others away!!! I am so looking forward to HJ now. I can't imagine how they'll top this!
I am really bad at keeping details straight so I will just hit some highlights and let some others fill you in on the rest.
What didn't they play? They played every song on the new album; every song on MOMM; Throw My Head; Use Me; Live It Up; Velvet; 3 covers - Wish You Were Here (!!!); Ring of Fire; and Paint It Black.
2 or 3 encores!!! I can't remember how many. I do remember Marty coming out for the last one saying we were relentless. He really didn't expect this and they had no idea what else to play. I believe that's when they played Velvet and Paint It Black.
They did some acoustic songs - Clouds was one of them, but again, I'm not good with details. I'm always to busy living in the moment. So, I don't remember which others were acoustic.
At Midnight, Marty talked about Billy's birthday saying that he would be nice to him only for the 24 hours of his birthday. Just kinda joking around. We all sang Happy Birthday to him.
The ceilings were really low and there was a beam right above where Marty was standing (edge of stage). If he jumped up 1 foot he could hit his head. You could tell he was worried about this from the beginning. Some time in the middle of the show he told us this funny story about when they had just started touring he actually did knock himself out on the first song because he hit his head jumping around. (That doesn't sound very funny when I read it back, but the way he told it was comical.)
Dino told us all he was really happy he was playing an all ages show because he didn't have to worry about cussing. So he let a few of his favorites out just because he could.
Marty called the lead guitarist up on stage to play a song with them. I think it was This Town. He prefaced it with saying that they always try to bring someone up there with them. That many of us knew Jeremy. And last week they had Matt Hoffer.
Oh, he was cracking me up at one point. He asked how many people were at Park West. He said that some of us were really starting to look familiar. He wondered how we could afford to be at every show. He wanted to know about our inheritance. Then he said that they guys were looking for some sugar mamas. They all start making comments, and Billy says something to the effect of, "Yeah, a sugar mama with money." So Marty breaks it down for him, saying, "Billy that's what a sugar mama is. The sugar is the money; the mama is the woman." Everyone was cracking up!
Since there wasn't anything to climb on, Marty lifted himself up on the beam and swung around for awhile. He also ran through the crowd. (Of course, I wasn't paying attention. I was trying to get shots of Bobby while he wasn't right in front of him.)
What else? . . after the acoustic set Bobby came out without his shirt. Marty commented about how we all must like that. He told Bobby that he was making him look bad because he was leaving his on. Through out the night he did slowly peel down like he usually does.
I think that is all I can remember right now. I didn't stay for the M&G because I had to drive back to Columbia and work today. I'll post more as I wake up and remember more. And photos will come soon, too.
I can re-iterate enough how this was the BEST show EVER!!!

Oh! The merchandise they were selling: pink Trees shirts; the 2 shirts on the website; NEW Get Live tour shirts; pink and black boy shorts; LH wristbands; and cds. My hubby bought me a Trees shirt when I wasn't with him. (So sweet!) But the guys selling the merch thought he was joking around wanting a pink shirt. My hubby finally had to tell them he was serious. They just looked at him. Hubby said it was hilarious!
The opening band (sorry I forgot their name) was also selling $2 EPs. They were hitting people up hard to be put on the mailing list. Their performance was ok. The sound was kind of wrong for an opener to LH, IMO. They were a cross between erasure (some may not agree, but the lead singers falsetto was similar), weezer, and 70's band I haven't been able to place yet. Maybe someone could help me with that. They called themselves "glam rock" as far as their style went, but I dunno. The lead singer was pretty. Lots of make up. The guitarist/bassist really into it. Kind of like Flea in the early days. The drummer was pretty good. And their was a chick keyboardist/tambourine player. She kind of had a Stevie Nicks look going for her. Long, billowy sleeves; head tie. I feel bad I don't remember their band's name.

Just finished loading my pics to my photo bucket. I took over 200. I weeded out most of the blurry ones, but the quality isn't awesome on all of them. Don't get me wrong there's a lot of great shots, but there was so much movement it was hard to focus sometimes. Just got the digital so not sure how to edit them yet.

Wednesday afternoon starts my adventures into Lovehammer Land.....What a GREAT beginning by the way. I actually had all my street teaming materials organized and ready, (Proud of me Penny?) [/IMG] ....And I head my way to St. Louis. I was offered this great place to stay by Miss Linda, at her "office", more like a home away from home, and Natasha and I decided to stay there for the 2 nights, very comfortable, and your such a hospitable host Linda, thank you very much for putting up with me. After finding her office, I was meeted by Stephanie333, great to meat you too hun...And we started on our shirts that we were making for the television appearance the next morning. They are black with spray painted silver lettering on it, WAY CUTE, Natasha made hers with a screen print of the boyz on the back. Mine just said Lovehammers Rock on it, but we had fun making them, or at least Natasha did. I knew I wasn't going back to sleep so, I wanted to hit the hay early. I wake up at 3:30 a.m., I'm ALL excited, blood pumping, ready TO GO TO GO TO GO....I get lost. First time in my LIFE I get lost in St. Louis. Oh, and Natasha was like I'm not leaving at 3:30, she's a really hard person to wake up, so she missed out on the most FABULOUS time. Oh, combing my hair and putting my make-up on is something I'm planning on doing when I get to the hotel where My Monster and Sil is staying. Oh Lord, you should of seen me, bed head, and bags from hell, oh my, looking the WORSE here. But I'm still SO pumped, we are seeing the Lovehammers live on TV. Little did I know when we walk into the hotel, please keep in mind, NO HAIR COMBED YET, that I would recognize the ONLY Greek God of Bass Playing Lovehammer of all, there's Dino. I'm like NOOOOOO.....So, of course, I couldn't resist saying hello at least, then run off to go to My Monster's room. I decided since we were alone with Sil, that this would be a great time to give him his early birthday present that I had got him, at the CROWN PLAZA in Downtown St. Louis, where the Lovehammers were staying. Lisafaith is an extraordinaire jewelry maker, designer, cool chik all wrapped up into one, and designed this great necklace that I gave to Dino. He's like what is it? I say, Open and find out. He says, where am I gonna put it? I say, I don't know, why ask me, just open it....Here I am, Oh please God don't let him look TOO close at me, NO MAKE-UP AND BED HEAD......Ok, I finally say hurry up Dino, I have NO MAKE-UP on, I'm like OH MY, he laughs. He opens the gift and likes it, and I get a hug, and then Marty and Bobby pop in from around the corner, and I'm STUCK......Once again, bed head here, I'm thinking get away get away, heart is like Oh My Lord, I'm alone with the Lovehammers.......Ok, so My Sil, sweetheart of one liners here, announces that she does actually have a ROOM key, and we are NOT stalking them, which gets another OH MY out of me. I introduce myself to Marty, like someone PLEASE teach me to put my own make-up on soon!!!! I'm like nice to see you, bye, and he's like oh you have wristbands, I'm like NOOOOO He's walking closer.....I'm walking back, bed head here, heart beating a million miles a minute!!!!He grabs the purse....I'M STUCK....I'm like ummm Marty....He grabs his hands in there, He asked, "Can I have some of these?"...I'm like of course, they are yours sort of they have YOUR name on them, and I think I actually said hurry up, cause I have to put make-up on. Bobby is NOT a morning person, he was just standing back there, sort of looking skeered, he noticed the BED HEAD I'm sure!!!! Then Billy walks in with Dan. Ok, I'm not wanting to spoil any of Sil and My Monster's reports here, so all I'm saying is that Sil shook Marty's hand and then IMMEDIATELY went after Billy, like Oh My. Marty started to talk to me about how much he appreciates ALL of us at the .org, I'm thinking dude, I NEED MAKE-UP....So, finally we say goodbye, Dino gives me another hug, and we are running for the elevator.....We are just standing in the elevator looking at each other, 3 minutes pass, and we realize the elevator is BROKE......We get out, and get into another one, and thank God we had enough brain capacity at the time to push 2.....We go and scream and squeeeee like teenagers for the next 1o minutes and then I realize.....MY MAKE-UP.....So, My Monster literally throws the shit on, and we run back out the door......This was the start of We get to the TV station, still in a haze from seeing the boyz. We get there and there is already a small group there. Was GREAT to meet ya all, sorry if I don't remember everyone's name, but geez, I'm still very much sleep deprived....We bring the HUGE banner that the genious, Miss Amy, our Global Moderator bought for the street teaming efforts, she really is a genius, the banner was very classy, and bright. Big, Red, MartyCasey.org....Plus I had plenty of wristbands, at least the ones Marty left me, and here we go chatting with everyone. Ok, that's it for me right now, I'm so in need of more sleep....Oh, I'm impromptly heading to Louisville in the Morning, long story, but I'll get to that later too. Hope ya all understand, and just to know, these past 2 days have been the BEST so far, and the moments of Lovehammer Land just continued throughout the day, evening, and night....Wonderful times.....Ok, goodnight, and I'll finish this Sunday with the KY report....Nancy [/IMG]

Nancy! You had me rolling on the floor screaming. Loved your story. To get caught by MC & LH while you had no makeup on --- horrors! Could just picture Marty digging in the box of wristbands and asking if he could have some. Like you're gonna say, no, Marty, get your hands off those! Ha Ha!
