Please.....take the negativity somewhere else. Publicly insulting one another is not productive to this thread or forum. The negativity accomplishes nothing more than breeding more animosity.
Again, stick to the topic at hand which is entitled "I support Marty Casey because....." Don't continue to derail what was intended to be a positive, supportive thread for Marty. Thank you.

I very much appreciate that people are having mixed feelings and a hard time right now. But there is no sense in spewing hatred and negativity - it accomplishes nothing. This thread is about being supportive of Marty.

I support Marty first and foremost because his music and lyrics are amazing.... He is a gift to this world, no matter what outlet he chooses to display his gift, i will always be grateful for his music and individuality.
I also support him because he is an amazing individual. I have had the pleasure of meeting him twice and both times he was gracious, patient and just very giving of himself. I don't need to be his "friend" to know that he is an amazing gift to this world!!

The reason I pointed out the "friend" issue was because many people are attributing all sorts of motivations to Marty's actions when quite frankly they don't know him nor the actual details. I do know, and quite a bit behinds the scenes info has been posted elsewhere.
Friendship is not supporting someone no matter what, it is being close enough to tell someone the truth.
Boston Girl you are a big fan, not friend.

Wow, The Fan, you have some nerve. I happen to have met Boston, and I know for a FACT that she knows Marty personally. You shouldn't ever talk like that to anyone here around the boards. That was just plain rude. While I am sure Boston can tell me Marty's myspace address, she couldn't say what street he lives on  I've noticed that those who know him the least are supporting him the most. What does this say? |

its says that this is a support thread and if you aren't here to support him then you need to take your negativity else where, it don't matter to me if you know his street address, dated him or whatever... if you really knew Marty at all you would know that he wants his fans to know him on a more personal level and to be more than just his fans, he wants them to be able to call him his friends, that is why we are all here to "support" him. You should not judge other people here because they may or may not know him in the way that you do.....

Marty and I aren't friends. He has always been friendly, but I'm his fan, not his friend. I appreciate him being so kind and gracious and generous to me and so many of his fans. I wouldn't have discovered the LHs' music if it weren't for him and I wouldn't have met so many amazing people and travelled to a couple of the best damn live shows EVER. It's hard for me to support his latest decision because I've never been a fan of LA Guns and I LOVE Lovehammers' music. I am curious about the new LA Guns album and will probably give it a listen because I've been an admirer of Marty's creativity and talent thus far. Maybe the new album will be a welcome surprise. Who knows.
I was looking forward to the new LH CD and hoping to see the band on tour soon so I'm feeling disappointed and confused. I wish Marty nothing but the best on his new path, though. The same goes for Lovehammers. All the best to all of them. I believe they're good people and they've had quite an impact on my life.

Do not attack or act like you know Marty any better than any one over here. I am asking you nicely, but if you don't stop badgering the fans who post here, I will be forced to block you out.
I support Marty 100% in this action. I am his webmaster and I know him fairly well. I don't have to prove to you how well I know him nor does any one else. I consider that quite rude to say such a thing to people.

"know him on a personal level" What does that mean, when all anyone knows of him is what he makes PUBLIC. Sure, he may have said "hi" to you at a concert or posed with you for a picture, but that is hardly knowing him on a personal level. There are people who actually do know him and are posting elsewhere but nobody wants to listen. Sorry, but I thought you guys might want to know what's really going on instead of guessing. I do know what is going on. I speak to Marty fairly regularly. So please butt out. Have you spoken to him within the last few weeks? You just will not stop, will you. I have tried to be fair to you and allow you to post. But you just refuse to show any respect. You keep badgering other people posting. That is not going to be allowed here. You need to go find another place to post.

 I tried sending a PM to this person but they ignored it, only want to voice their opinions in a thread to bug everyone. Oh well their comments aren't go to make me falter We are here to support Marty and that is what we will continue to do.
