Sorry to hear you're sick, Jodi. I won't be there either....but its a good thing. Some friends ended up with an extra ticket to see Motley Crue and Buckcherry next week and so I switched my vacation day from tomorrow to next Wednesday. That means I have to get up at 5 am in the morning so I would have to call it a really early nite. Are any of the Zanesville girls going? Anyway....those of you that do go....have a blast...can't wait for the review and PICTURES!! WilleV...so glad you are staying with your friend....even though Chillicothe is small...it still has some very scary people and don't forget the vampires are in town...haha!!

Thanks Rachel! I noticed Marty's note and sig on the set list. Lucky girl! Looks like his recent head injury didn't slow him down or inhibit him! Wish I could have been there. I'm saving my $ and next year, I'm going to plan better and take an entire week!

LA Guns (With Marty)
Faster Pussycat

So, I did my first roadtrip withour my mom, in my car, so I was taking a risk by jst taking my car. But my car did great I can ay I have a little more confidence in it, lol.

So Christine and I drove down to Chillicothe on Monday, we stayed at my freind Kristens house, who lves there, so I was equally excited to see her, and thankful for her letting us stay there:)

So Christine and I got to Cardos around 6:30, Chillicothe is pretty creepy Everyone likes to stare, and the homeless people chill out on the city benches lol!

So as soon as we walked in, we spotted Yak at the bar, and she introduced us to Karen, both have been to too many Marty, Lovehammers, LA guns shows to count. Chad, the LA Guns guitarist came over and I got to shake his hand, he was nice. Christine gave him the cookies we made the bands, who doesnt love cookies! Then Alec came over, he's the 19 yearold guitsrist for LA Guns, he joined the band when Marty did. When they started the tour back in June, they needed a 2nd guitarist and a singer. Alec was so nice!

So we just hung out and talked at Yak's reserved table, Karen is awesome she has so many stories...MArty actualy did a show in PA on her birthday so cool!! So we are just chatting away and Yak comes back inside (she was trying to sell a couple extra tickets) And hse says MArty is outside just chillin.... soo of coarse us 4 all go out and got to chill with MArty for probably an hour or so!


The Hangout!


He imediatly reconized me and asked how I was, and got a Hugs, and some new ORG wristbands that I was pretty excited about. He wanted to know al about the OURS show, so Christine and I told all.. Jimmys vioce is not human! "So what other shows have you been too??" Oh god, dont start me marty! I told him all about my new favorite local band, Atoms Inception, how Kyle mixed the whole 'Inceptions' CD, drums, guitar, vocals, background everything. Christine had bought Marty a 'Inception' CD back in July. Marty was reall excited about it, he wanted to know everything about the sound and vibe of the music.... he will have to hear for himself!! LOL and he loved the cookies, choc chip happened to be his favorite, Christine had been a little worried about if the other bands would eat them all before Marty could get any (cause we really made them, for Marty's tramatic event the night before) but he had like 6 already, so that made us feel better. We got to see his 5 staples in his head, haah yak took a picture (but i dont have it yet) "Marty has braces on his head!" Christine and I told some weird stories....we were all having sucha good time, and more people started showing up.... ahah like this mom and daugher came over and were so nervous, they wanted their picture and wristbands... like MArty had to do so many pictures with people, and then they would just leave... I hate when people do thatt, at least introduce yourself!

So while Marty was taking pictures, I met Steph a MArty fan from KY, she awesome. And Nancy BB, whos a fantastic photographer.. but she really reminded me og my aunt, lol, which is a good thing. Yak and I talked for a long time, she is quit a charactor, but I love the girl she made my night even more amazing. Alec would come over and sit next to me hhah he was like why are there X's on your hands ( they X everbody whos not 21) So Alec grabs my hand and inspects all my wristbands.. "IM Xed!!" Cardos is such a cool looking place it was once a courthouse so the pilars and texture of the building is very cool.

So eventually everybody who was taking pictures wandered inside and Alec and Marty had to leave and get ready! The rest of us still hung out outside... because the opening bands inside were sooooo loud! I met Jennifer, who was also a LH fan, but had seen LA guns a couple times also, she sat with us later. Kat the owner of Cardos came out she's so nice, hahah she wasnt very excited that Vanilla Ice was coming in a couple weeks. lol, she was telling us stories of her breaking fights up and literally dragging them over the the jail... ehich is across the street!

So Yak, Karen, Christine, Steph, Jenn and I all go inseide and sit at our table on the side of the stage.

LA Guns came out, they were so full of energy and Marty looked like he was having so much fun!

2nd

LA Guns came out, they were so full of energy and Marty looked like he was having so much fun! He did the mad cunductor, had his arms around Alec, climbed the Speaker boxes... the old Marty was back, smiling the whole time.

After LA Guns the show we had to watch this band called Faster Pussy cat..umm they where interesting!!

Yak got me Chads setlist and I wanted to get it signed by Marty, so our whole group goes over, Marty signs my setlist, and Christine asked him if he remembered her from Clevelnad, he did and admitted Cleveland was bad,.. in Martys words it Sucked. I just thought it was a little short.. and it was right in the middle of all LH and LA Guns stuff. So then Yak pulls out her Camera, and Marty just grabs me and I wasnt expecting it,. he spins me around in like some sort of dance, then pose.... it made for one interesting photo Yak has... lol. Christine got a vute pic too:) Then Marty took our group pic!

Then we went back to our table, and Jeremy the Bass player came over and took pics with everyone. I took a couple pics for Yak of her and Faster Pussycat. Then Alec came back over and we all got pictures with him also. This lady came over and had him sign a couple things, I borrowed her pen so Alec could sign my setlist, she was onther one of those sign and leave people.... So I had this giant bandage on my hand, from my moms horse giving me the worst rope burn ever! Alec grabbed my hand "What happened to your hand jeez!"and and i had to tell him the long painful story..owww! He gave me a hug and had to go start packing up the trailer.

So by now it getting really late and we have to go.. Christine got a setlist so we had to have Marty sign it. He gladly signed it and We told him we had to leave. He gave us bopth big hugs.... and im gonna say Marty was a bit tipsy and him and I had an interesting converstion...umm..lol email me if you really want to know! So after that he put his arms around Christine and I and gave me a kiss on the cheek. "We love ya Marty" He cant wait to see us next time... and ill where my contacts just for Marty lol...god.

So we said goodbye to Yak and the amazing girls we met! Got big hugs and exchanged emails for pictures.

So Christine and I walked out of Cardos, we had so much fun!!! Alec was walking back into Cardos, and he gave me another big hug, and a kiss on the cheek, so nice. I told him to keep an eye on Marty for me.... I really hope he does. hahah then Kat was outside smoking, "Hey wheres my love?" I gave her a hug, she was awesome!

Such a Fun show, Hanging out with everyone made my night! If it wasnt for music I wouldnt be here, and without Marty I wouldnt have found the music that changed my life. Such a Great night!
