Who all is planning on going to Cardo's? This is like 30 minutes from my house....I am so excited!!! I was so bummed that I missed Marty the last time he was here. Only 35 more days!!  |

I'm trying to make it happen, its only a 4 hour or so drive. Need to figure out if I can rope some other Indy fans into going as I have to be at work the next morning. Got to check with the husband and see if he can keep the little ones. I'm definitely going to try to make it I possibly can!!!

hey, Chillecothe is about an hour on hour and half from columbus, I will be there! Im bringing my freind Christine as well, and possibly my freind Kristen who lives in chillecothe, lucky girl.
Ive heard from Kristen that Cardos is a very small place, it was once a pizza parlor or something, lol

Jane, my sense of direction is so bad!! I know, I know....everybody keeps telling me GPS. Before I realized they had an Ohio show I did consider going to Kentucky or Indiana. I really wanted to go to the PA show and have my friend from RI meet me there. But reality set in, I have a hard time finding my way out of the parking garage at the mall...  ...ha ha! Here's some venue info.....Marty played an acoustic set there some time back (I wasn't able to go). I wonder what time our favorite Night Owl will come out to rock since it appears they close at Midnight on Monday nights. LOL :-) Cardo's Restaurant & Bar 27 W. 2nd St. Chillicothe, OH 45601 740-775-2564 www.gocardos.comCardo's is the place to be in Chillicothe. Our casual menu is loaded with specialty pizzas, subs, salads and more and available for pick-up, dine-in or delivery. Located in a building that was originally a 7000+ square foot bank built in the early 1900's, Cardo's interior definitely has the "Wow" factor. Original decor can still be found throughout, including a vault that you can eat in, original special made chandeliers and real gold-flake paint on the high ceilings. Our restaurant and full bar has an atmosphere suitable for a day out with the family or a night out on the town. We have recently added an upper level, complete with balcony, beer bar, pool tables and even more seating. In addition to the many televisions and pool tables, Cardo's has three dart boards, two foosball tables and video games. Each weekend offers a variety of entertainment. We have a DJ, karaoke and live bands every weekend. The newly constructed stage and dance floor boasts the best light show and sound in Ross County. I have seen 7 pm in one place and 8 pm in another. There are three bands though so who knows when our boy will surface. Did you check out the pictures of the other performers that were at Cardos? I was only paying half attention and thought that really was KISS....duh! So who wants to help me make lasagna? We can have cocktails while we are making it. I have had drunken spaghetti and it was pretty good. I wonder how the boys would like drunken lasagna?  Micki |

I am hoping to go to this show, but can't say for sure yet. It is the first day of my vacation and am not sure if my family will let me cut out on them for an overnight trip. I'm working on them though. I will probably have to promise to make it up to them somehow...  |

I know what you mean, UandMe. Monday night is kind of tough and I have a hard time driving anytime. I am trying to get some of my friends to go...but everybody is complaining that it is Monday nite. As far as Chillicothe being a small town, it is huge considering where I live....haha! I hope you all can go....I have read most of your post and I would really like to meet you all in person. You seem like a really great group of people!

We Marty fans have been known to have fun!!! I am looking forward to meeting you also micki!!! I just hope the band (Marty) will have the time to hang out after the show. You already know how wonderful Marty is to talk to fans when he can. I met the rest of the band in Green Bay and they are really nice guys....vampire hard rockers, yes LOL, but really nice guys!! And when you meet Marty, I hope one of us will there to take your picture and capture that moment! A first time meeting Marty is a wonderful experience!!! See you at Cardo's!

Hey Yak, a picture with Marty would be wonderful....but I am just so incredibly excited to get to see his energy on stage!!! He is just mesmerizing!! I am so envious of all of you that have gotten to see all the Lovehammers performances. I would love to see them perform Clouds. It is my very favorite song. I listen to their cd just about every night while I am working in my gardens. My roses love Marty about as much as we all do...ha ha ha! Can't wait to meet you!

Don't think there is anything within walking distance of Cardo's unless you want to have a looonnnggg walk, but there are several hotels on Bridge Street which is about a five minute drive. I believe they have a Best Western, Chillicothe Inn, Christopher Inn, Country Hearth Inn, and Hampton Inn. I have never had the need to stay at any of them so not sure how respectable they are. They do have a couple charming bed and breakfast if you wanna be real comfy. And guess what?? Only 33 more days!!!

I've still got to see if I can definitely make it happen. I'm willing to split a room with someone though. I've got a bit of drive back....knowing our favorite night owl....I'll be in no condition to drive back over 4 hours at that time of the morning. LOL :-)
